The purpose of this study was to evaluate the epidemiological characteristics of the mandibular fractures relating to gender, age, the etiology of injury, and the rendered treatment modalities and complications. The data of the patients who sustained mandibular fractures were retrieved and were analyzed retrospectively, and based on these data a descriptive analysis was conducted. A total of 112 patients were included in this study; the most common cause was road traffic accidents (RTAs) followed by assaults and missile injuries. The most frequently involved age group was 11 to 20 years, treatment modalities included conservative, closed reduction and indirect fixation, and open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) in 11.6, 79.5, and 8.9%

A total of 352 freshwater fishes, belonging to three species of the family Cyprinidae were collected from the Greater Zab river in north of Iraq during the period from November 2000 to the end of November 2001. The inspection of their gills revealed the infection of these fishes with three species of monogenetic trematodes belonging to the genus Dogielius. These species included D. mokhayeri from Aspius vorax with a percentage incidence of 37.5%; D. molnari from Cyprinion macrostomum (33.3%) and D. persicus from Barbus luteus (41.2%). The record of this genus and its three above-named species of the present study are considered as the first record on fishes of Iraq.

The study was aimed to investigate the morbidity of enteritis in goate from 2007 to 2011 by using 149 records contained veterinarian and breeding records from birth to yearling age to study factors refer to animals and that in relationship with enteritis morbidity included: breed, year, birth type, sex, birth weight, weaning weight, mother weight, season and age. General mean for enteritis incident rate was 0.94% and this not affected by birth type, sex, weaning weight, maternal weight, while significantly (p<0.05) affected by breed and birth weight and highly significant affect by year, season and age.     The monogeneans Gyrodactylus dzhalilovi Ergens & Ashurova, 1984, G. magnus Konovalov, 1967 and G. matovi Ergens & Kakachava-Avramova, 1966 were recorded in this study for the first time in Iraq from gills of the common carp Cyprinus carpio Linnaeus, 1758 collected from Tigris River in Baghdad city. The description, measurements and illustrations of these parasites were given.

The classification of Salix at the generic and infra-generic levels is still outstanding. We have agreed to list the Egyptian species of this genus. 2 gene (CNTNAP2) and autism spectrum disorders. The study includes forty autistic
patients and forty non autistic children as control groups (twenty unaffected sibling
and twenty unrelated children). DNA was extracted from Blood samples for
molecular detection of CNTNAP2 mutations associated with ASDs by using
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique and sequencing analysis. PCR reaction
