This research is an attempt to study aspects of syntactic deviation in AbdulWahhab Al-Bayyati with reference to English. It reviews this phenomenon from an extra-linguistic viewpoint. It adopts a functional approach depending on the stipulates of systemic Functional Grammar as developed by M.A.K. Halliday and others adopting this approach. Within related perspective, fairly’s taxonomy (1975) has been chosen to analyze the types of syntactic deviation because it has been found suitable and relevant to describe this phenomenon. The research hypothesizes that syntactic deviation is pervasive in Arabic poetry, in general and in Abdul-Wahhab Al-Bayyati Poetry in specific, and can be analyzed in the light of systemic Functional Grammar

Background: Epithelial salivary gland tumours are relatively uncommon and constitute a wide spectrum of variable morphologic and biologic entities. The cell proliferation / death balance is most important in the development of salivary gland tumours. The aim of this study was to examine the expression of PCNA protein immunohistochemically and Bax mRNA gene using in situ hybridization techniques and to correlate between the clinicopathological features of salivary gland tumours with the expressions of PCNA protein and Bax mRNA. An idiom is a group of words whose meaning put together is different from the meaning of
individual words. English is a rich language when it comes to idioms, they represent variety. For
foreign learners, idioms are problematic because even if they know the meaning of individual
words that compose an idiom the meaning of it might be something completely different.
The present study investigates Iraqi third year college students’ recognition of idioms. To
achieve this, the researchers have conducted a test which comprises three questions. Certain
conclusions are reached here along with some suggestions and recommendations.

        Genotypic detection of some Antibiotics Resistant genes by using polymerase chain reaction (PCR). (20) Isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii that showed resistance to (Ceftaxim, Cefotaxim, Cefepim and Imipenim) were selected. The results showed that 20 isolates of A. baumannii possess the bla-OXA23 like gene, and that all isolates possess this gene with a percentage (100%). With molecular weight 605 bp. The current study showed that A. baumannii isolates carry 100% bla-OXA51like gene when studied with (20) isolates that are resistant to antibiotics (Imipenim Ceftazidime, Cifepime, Cifexime) that belong to this group of β-lactame with molecular weight 382 bp.   Gene exp
