Bakground: A prospective study was designed to find out the prevalence of different types of T.B. among women and children.
Methods: A total of 390 patients aged from less than one year up to more than 65 years who attended T.B. center in Kirkuk city from beginning to end of 2005, were included in the study. A detail clinical and laboratory examination were carried out to confirm the diagnosis.
Results: The rate of infection in females (46.15%) was lower than males (53.84%). In pediatric age groups, the highest rate was among the age 12-14 (2.05%) and the lowest was among
>1-2 years and 9-11 years (0.76%). Inactive pulmonary T.B. was highest among the pediatric age group.

Objectives: To evaluate the prevalence of uremic pruritus in dialysis patients and their correlation with the laboratory and clinical parameters in some Iraqi patients with chronic renal disease.

To determine the relationship between chronic hepatitis B virus and autoimmune celiac disease, seventy five patients with chronic hepatitis B virus of ages (8-70) years have been investigated and compared with 50 healthy individuals. All the studied groups were carried out to measure antiGliadin antibodies IgA and IgG by ELISA test and anti-reticulin antibodies IgA and IgG by IFAT. There were significant elevation (P<0.05) in the concentration of AGA IgA and IgG antibodies compared to control group. The prevalence of AGA antibodies IgA and IgG was 8% and 9.33% respectively. The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of moisture concrete of clayey soil on the concrete slabs placed directly over it. This experimental study presents the mechanical properties of the concrete slab when placed on different clayey soil moisture content ranging from 0% to the optimum moisture content of 35%. The tests were performed on soil concrete specimens of 25*30*50 mm exposed to sprayed water curing conditions for 28 days.
