Insects Infestation for Plants of Fabaceae in Different Areas in Iraq
Abstract<p>In this study, 191 specimens of insects that infect species of the Fabaceae family, including: <italic>Pisum sativum</italic> L. (1753), <italic>Lens esculenta</italic> Moench (1794) and <italic>Vigna unguiculata</italic> subsp. <italic>sesquipedalis</italic> (L.) Verdc. (1763), <italic>Vicia faba</italic> L. A SURVEY OF GASTROPODS IN THE GREENHOUSES OF IRAQ

The humid and warm conditions in greenhouses provide an excellent environment for pests’ living conditions, and therefore, they provide ideal medium for alien introductions. Molluscs are among the most significant pests that infest plastic covered greenhouses. To identify and report their mollusc species, 23 greenhouses in Iraq were surveyed between March 2023 and April 2024. Of these, 11 were found to be infested with snails. A total of 158 specimens were collected and morphologically identified to seven species: Monacha obstructa (L. Pfeiffer, 1842), Eobania vermiculata (O.F. Survey and revision of leaf miners to some plants from different localities of Iraq
This investigation showed (31) species belonging to (15) genera under (five) families and two orders. The leafminers Dipter families (Agromozidae, Anthomyiidae, Drosophilidae), Agromyzid flies is the highest level of investigated many host plants, but other families have lowest host plants. The synonyms of species were provided from GBIF scarlet's. The date and localities of sampling collection were recorded.

Two dwarf snakes were discovered, Eirenis thospitis Schmidtler & Lanza from Sereen mountain, north east of Arbil and E. rothii Jan from Saffin mountain North of Arbil city North of Iraqi Kurdistan. Supported by description and important notes on variation. In addition summarized list for 9 species of the genus Eirenis Jan in Iraq is also presented.
