Abstract Daily dressing changes cause distress and pain for victims of burn injuries. The study aimed to determine the effect of music in reducing the pain and anxiety of thermally burned children during routine dressing changes. This quantitative study employed a randomized controlled trial design. The participants comprised 80 children at the Specialized Burns Hospital, in Baghdad, Iraq who were divided into two groups. Introduction: This study was carried out to assess the effect of natural wool fiber addition on the impact, tensile, and flexural strengths of the heat-cured acrylic denture base material. Methods: Short wool fibers with and without chemical surface treatment were added to polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) at a percentage of 0.25% by weight. This study is concerned with the recent changes that occurred in the last three years (2017-2019) in the marshes region in southern Iraq as a result of the changes in the global climate, the study included all the water bodies in the five governorates that are located in the southern regions of Iraq (Wasit, Maysan, Dhi-Qar, Qadisiyah and Basrah), which represent the marshes lands in Iraq.
