Tension caused by a lack of water (water stress or drought stress) represents the continuous and continuous threat to the survival of the plant, as many of the plants in which phenotypic or physiological modification takes place may not be able to continue and remain in the environment in which they live due to the water stress on it or the low soil moisture content. This of course is related to the prevailing weather conditions (lack of rain, high temperature, increased wind speed, low relative humidity in the atmosphere … etc.), so dry soil is defined as the shortage of soil water needed to the extent that its readiness for the plant decreases (that is, the threshold at which the plant cannot absorb Or drain the water at a speed that meets its requirements for vital activities, and photosynthesis that meets the requirements of evapotranspiration does not occur. Conversely, water tightening may be the result of increased water. An example of stretching as a result of increased water is flooding, which results in suffocation resulting from Reduced concentration of oxygen-prepared oxygen to the roots, which in turn will impair breathing. In general, tension due to a lack of water is the most common, which led specialists to call it “water deficit stress.” Because water tension occurs in natural environments as a result of rain entrapping, Such conditions are known as drought conditions and therefore drought stress is terme In laboratory conditions, water stress conditions can be achieved through the loss of water by transpiration from the leaves, a circumstance that is due to what is termed as a desiccation stress. That is, in the sense that water stress is one of the components of salt tension and osmotic tension, and in order to unify these differences according to the concept of water tension, it termed the concept of low water potential.

Objective:The current study aime to isolate Escherichia colifrom urinary tract infections(UTIs) in many Baghdad hospitals. The study concentrate on phylogenic groups and this was done based on triplex PCRmethod by primers besieged to three genetic markers, chuA, yjaA and TspE4.C2. Evaluate the relationship of phylogenic groups of E. coli isolates with the antibiotic-non sensitive patterns. Methodology:Four hundredof E.coli bacteria isolated from urine samples from five hospitals in Baghdad city include: Ghazi AL-Hariri, Ibin- Al-Beledi , AL-Iskan , AL-Nooman and AL-Yarmoke hospitals. In this article, new Schiff base ligand LH-prepared Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Hg(II), Pd(II), and Pt(II) materials were analyzed using spectroscopy (1 Metal: 2 LH). The ligand was identified using techniques such as FTIR, UV-vis, 1H-13C-NMR, and mass spectra, and their complexes were identified using CHN microanalysis, UV-vis and FTIR spectral studies, atomic absorption, chloride content, molar conductivity measurements, and magnetic susceptibility. According to the measurements, the ligand was bound to the divalent metal ions as a bidentate through oxygen and nitrogen atoms. The complexes that were created had microbicide activity against two different bacterial species and one type of fungus. DPPH techniques were bei

Samples of zooplankton were collected by plankton net 100-µm. mesh size. The population density of Cladocera ranged between 1 Ind /m³ during summer and 211 Ind./m³ during winter at station 1 (Al-Jewaber Bridge). A total of 16 species of Cladocera belonging to 12 genera were recorded in the study. The average density of Cladocera ranged from 23.2 ind./m3 at Station 2 (Hamayon Bridge) to 53.7 Ind./m3

The levels of progranulin, obestatin and liver enzymes including ALT, AST and ALP were measured in forty five sera in female patients suffering from CRC before chemotherapy initiation treatment as G1, G2 after first chemotherapy cycle and G3 after second chemotherapy cycle compared with thirty female as a healthy control G4. Results showed a high significant increased in progranulin concentration and a high significant decrease in obestatin in G2 than other groups. The correlation between progranulin and ALP was a significant negative (-ve) relation while obestatin with AST gave a significant positive (+ve) correlation in G. The results also showed non signif

The rocks of this formation were divided into three sedimentary microfacies:

The effect of air injection angle on the performance of airlift pump used for water pumping has been studied analytically and experimentally. An airlift pump of dimensions 42mm diameter and 2200 mm length with conventional and modified air injection device was considered. A modification on conventional injection device (normal air-jacket type) was carried out by changing injection angle from 90 (for conventional) to 45 and 22.5 (for modified). Continuity and one-dimensional momentum balance for the flow field with basic principle of two-phase flow and expressions of slip ratio and friction factor as function of flow rates were formulated. The analytical and experimental investigations were carried out f

And the process of transforming a theatre performance from its original context into a new hosting cultural context starts from the actual reading of the text. Directors derives their new signs out of his personal culture, depending on the society where they lives and the culture that forms the social conventions, traditions and beliefs. The text is usually written within its own historical and temporal culture. The process of its production usually takes it away from its original culture, when it interprets the codes of the original writer and their visual and linguistic signs and instils new alternative sign
