An experiment was carried out in the vegetables field of Horticulture Department / College of Agriculture / Baghdad University , for the three seasons : spring and Autumn of 2005 , and spring of 2007 , to study the type of gene action in some traits of yield and its components in summer squash crosses (4 x 3 = cross 1 , 3 x 7 = cross 2 , 3 x 4 = cross 3 , 3 x 5 = cross 4 , 5 x 1 = cross 5 , 5 x 2 = cross 6). The study followed generation mean analysis method which included to each cross (P1 , P2 , F1 , F2 , Bc1P1 , Bc1P2) , and those populations obtained by hybridization during the first and second seasons. Experimental comparison was performed in the second (Two crosses only) and third seasons , (four crosses) by using RCBD with three replications. Three parameters model with chi square test and six parameters model were used to estimate the type of gene effects , in breeding depression , components of genetic variance , mean degree of dominance , heritability and expected gain due to selection. The results showed that dominance and epistatic (additive x additive) and (dominance x dominance) effects were great importance than additive effects in most traits of all crosses. In breeding depression was important except for fruit weight . Broad-sense heritability was high in fruit weight , plant yields , and total yield (67.05 , 52.54 , 52.56) respectively for cross 1 , while it was low to moderate in some traits and crosses and narrow – sense heritability was high in fruit weight (40.82) for cross 6 and low in some traits to some crosses. Expected gain due to selection was low in plant yield and total yield for cross 4 and fruit weight for cross 6
The research abstract included introduction and the importance of the research, also included display of the problem represented by weakness for the players when performing some of the basic skills in badminton and the shuttle not reaching to the back corners of the court which gives the player the opportunity to win through applying the pressure on the opponent and make him away from the control center(T) which definitely required level of a collection muscular strength contributed in performance perhaps this related to a number of reasons related with weakness in physical changes especially explosive and characterized by speed forces for the badminton players and be acquainted with them and knowing the extent of their effect in performanc

The research is based on the hypothesis that the monetary policy of Iraq contributes to achieving financial stability, which improves economic sustainability by providing aid and assistance to the state to reduce the budget deficit and exacerbate indebtedness. The author used the monetary policy indicators, the re-deduction of Treasury transfers by the central bank and the money supply, and financial sustainability indicators, including the public debt indicators and the

It works by connecting the central core, comprising either shear walls or braced frames, to the outer perimeter columns.
The modal considered is a 36 storey square high rise reinforced concrete building. By constructing a discrete lumped mass model, and using frequency-based response function, two systems of dampers, parallel and series systems are studied. The maximum lateral load at the top of the building is calculated, and this load w

Topical treatment is required in most superficial burn cases Moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) protects wounds from infection and enhances healing without any harmful effects of purified chemicals is caused. The topical using of HA gel in rat models with full and partial thickness surgical wounds shows enhancement in wound repair. In this study, we compared the healing efficacy of topical use of hyaluronic acid gel products with MEBO as standard management in rats that were exposed to a partial-thickness burn. The experiment included twenty-four (24) adult albino rats of male sex with weight (150-220 gm) of 3 months’ age divided i

Therefore, certain provisions of legitimacy came to stress the importance of the intentions of sharia to achieve the interests of all people that involve several aspects, including the five fundamental things: religion, oneself, offspring, mind and money. Almighty Allah has specified certain punishments on those who violate these things by imposing punishments on the part of the criminal to preserve souls. He imposes the penalty of theft to preserve property, the Hadd punishment for adultery to preserve the symptoms, the punishment on the drunk to preserve the mind, and the Hadd punishment for the apostate to preserve the religion. By the adherence to these punishments li

The designer is keen to diversify his formal vocabulary in a way that secures visual values that call for aesthetic integration, as well as securing mental and kinetic behavioral understanding in the interior space.
As the designer deals with a three-dimensional space that carries many visual scenes, the designer should not leave anything from it without standing on it with study and investigation, and puts the user as a basic goal as he provides interpretive data through prediction and foresight that le
Quantum dots of CdSe, CdS and ZnS QDs were prepared by chemical reaction and used to fabricate organic quantum dot hybrid junction device. QD-LEDs were fabricated using layers of ITO/TPD: PMMA/CdSe/Alq3, ITO/TPD: PMMA/CdS/Alq3 and ITO/TPD: PMMA/ZnS/Alq3 devices which prepared by phase segregation method. The hybrid white light emitting devices consists, of three-layers deposited successively on the ITO glass substrate; the first layer was of N, N’-bis (3-methylphenyl)-N, N’-bis (phenyl) benzidine (TPD) polymer mixed with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) polymers. The second layer was QDs while the third layer was tris (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminium (Alq3
