An experiment was conducted at the laboratories of College of Agriculture – Kerbala University during 2016. The aim of this study was to the effect of water extracts of medicinal plants germination percentage and development of plumule and radicle growth .The completely randomized design with three replicates was usedin each experiment consisted of water extracts (T1= Distilled water),(T2= Eruca sativa Eruca sativa L),(T3= Fenugreek ﺍﻟﺤﻠﺒﺔTrigonella foenum - graecum L),(T4= Sweet FennelFoeniculum vulgare.Mill),(T5=Borage Anchusa strigosa Lab),(T6=Dill Anethum graveolens L) ,(T7=Black cuminNigella Sativa L),(T8=Cumin Cuminumcyminum L),(T9=  CorianderCoriandrum sativum L. ). An experiment was conducted in pots with 4 Kg soil per pot in the green house of Biology department, College of Education (Ibn Al-Haithum), university of Baghdad, the growing season of (2008-2009), to study the effects of four levels of urea (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4) g/pot, that equivalent to (0, 100, 200 and 400) Kg/ha. Also three levels of superphosphate fertilizer (0.2, 0.1, and 0) g/pot, that equivalent to (200, 100, and 0) Kg/ha were added to the local yields components. This study was conducted in the poultry field of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of Baghdad for the period from 10/15/2021 to 11/25/2021 in order to show the effect of adding different levels of Ganoderma lucidum to broiler diets on physiological traits and indicators of fat oxidation in meat. In it, 200 unsexed (Ross 308) chicks of one-day-old breed were used, with a starting weight of (40) g. The chicks were distributed and randomly divided into four treatments, with 50 birds for each treatment. Toxicity assays were used in this study to test how DDT affects lethality and brood size of Caenorhabditis elegans (C.elegans) by exposing them to various concentrations of this agent. These nematodes have provided a very informative system that was utilized to study the behavioural and physiological processes. The results showed that DDT affected the lethality in a dose-dependent manner, but 100% kill was not achieved with concentration tested. Whereas, sodium azide, positive control does have an effect on C. elegans and significantly inhibiting lethality (LC50 0.01mM).  Similarly, DDT led to a pronounced effect in brood size of C.elegans compared to the mean brood size recorded for the control (0.1% DMSO).
