The current study aims at identifying the impact of using learning acceleration model on the achievement of mathematics for third intermediategrade students. Forachieving this, the researchers chose the School (Al-Kholood Secondary School for Girls) affiliated to the General Directorate of Babylon Education / Hashemite Education Department for the academic year (2021/2021), The sample reached to (70) female students from the third intermediate grade, with (35) female students for each of the two research groups. The two researchers prepared an achievement test consisting of (25) objective items of multiple choice type, The psychometric properties of the test were confirmed, and after the completion of the experiment, the achievement test was applied to the two research groups at the same time, and after processing the data statistically using the statistical bag, the study concluded thatthat the experimental group students who studied according to learning acceleration model outperformed the students of the control group who studied according to the traditional method. First // Research problem: We live today in an open era, the most prominent characteristic of which is access to knowledge in many forms that are faster, more interesting and attractive, Perhaps what we really need is knowledge that is transformed into projects and works that contribute to changing reality and making the future;Through the study path of the two researchers and their visit to a number of mathematics teachers for the third intermediate grade, and through a questionnaire distributed to them, the researchers concluded that (85%) of the male and female teachers are not satisfied with their students achievement in mathematics, and this was confirmed by the success rates for the past year, which reached to (34.69%), and some studies indicated a decrease in the achievement level as a study ( Al-Ayoubi, 2007) and (Mizban, 2018) study. The two researchers noted that the reason for the low level of achievement is due to most male and female teachers adopting traditional methods of teaching, using few teaching methods, giving ready information to students, not benefiting from the students’ mental capabilities and abilities, and not knowing many teachers of modern strategies and models in teaching mathematics, which emphasizes the positive role for the learner and taking into account the individual differences among students. The two researchers believe that there is an urgent need to keep up with developments in teaching methods and means by relying on modern models and strategies in teaching, as it is no longer acceptable to maintain traditional methods because they are no longer sufficient to meet the educational process requirements, especially that the world is witnessing qualitative and quantitative leaps in all areas of life, and maintain the traditional methods of teaching will inevitably increase the gap between us and developed world countries. In order to address this problem, the two researchers believe that using learning acceleration model in teaching mathematics to the third intermediate grade female students is that it addresses low achievement problem.
Abstract:
The aerial part of Ephedra foliata Family Ephedraceae have long been used in traditional medicine and now Ephedra species have medicinal, ecological, and commercial value. The variety of pharmacological actions of this plant is due to its chemical constituents. Ephedrine and
related alkaloids; are the newly potential medicinal value of Ephedra supplements for weight loss or performance improvement. Other pharmacological actions like antibacterial and antifungal effects of the phenolic acid compounds, the immunosuppressive action of the polysaccharides, and the antitumor action of flavonoids. The genus of this plant wildly distributed t
In present work, new tetra-dentate ligand, titled 3,5-bis ((E)-5-Bromo-2-hydroxy benzylidene amino) benzoic acid (H3L), was prepared via an acid-catalyzed condensation process. New four metallic ligand complexes with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions, were also prepared from the refluxing of equivalent moles. Ligand's structure and its complexes; were confirmed by numerous characterization methods, including Ultraviolet-Visible, Infrared, Mass Spectrometer, 1H and 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectra, atomic absorption, magnetic moments, and molar conductivity measurements. The results of the spectroscopic analyzes proved that the prepared ligand acts as tetradentate bi-ionic ligand and it was bond

Standard physico-chemical procedures including metal analysis M%, element microanalysis (C.H.N.S) , magnetic susceptibility, conductometric measurements, FT-IR and UV-visible Spectra were used to identify Metal (III) complexes and Schiff bases (LS) and (LA). According to findings, a [Cr(III) complex] showed six coordinated octahedral geometry, while [La(III), and Ce(III) complexes]were structured with coordination number seven. Schiff's bases a

The ligand and the complexes were isolated and characterized in solid state by using FT-IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, flame atomic absorption, elemental analysis CHNS , magnetic susceptibility measurements , melting points and conductivity measurements. The nature of complexes in liquid state was studied by following the molar ratio method which gave results approximately identical to those obtained from isolated solid state; also, stability constant of the prepared complexes were studied and found that they were stable in molar ratio 1:1.The complexes have a sequar planner geometry except Pt(IV) complex has octahedral .

All of them were water-soluble and are used quite extensively in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. This study synthesised the new ligand derivative from L-ascorbic acid-base using the following steps: A 5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid was prepared by reacting dry acetone with L-ascorbic acid followed by reacting it with trichloroacetic acid to yield [chloro(carboxylic)methylidene]-5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid in the second stage. In the third stage, the derivative was reacted with (methyl(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine to create a new ligand (ONMILA). This novel ligand was identified using a number

Show MoreThe adsorption behavior of Bismarck brown (BB) dye from aqueous solutions onto graphene oxide GO and graphene oxide-g-poly (n-butyl methacrylate-co-methacrylic acid) GO-g-pBCM as adsorbents was investigated. The prepared GO and GO-g-pBCM were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy FTIR, which confirmed the compositions of the prepared adsorbents. Adsorption of BB dye onto GO and GO-g-pBCM was explored in a series of batch experiments under various conditions. The data were examined utilizing Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. The Langmuir isotherm was seen as increasingly reasonable from the experimental information of dye on formulating adsorbents. Kinetic investigations showed that the experimental data were fitted ve

Show MoreHerein, date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) bunch (DPB) waste was transformed into activated carbon (DPAC) adsorbent by using microwaveinduced ZnCl2 activation for 15 min at a power of 600 W. Several analytical methods were used to explain the physicochemical parameters of DPBAC including XRD, pHpzc, BET, SEM–EDX, and FTIR. Afterwards, the adsorptive performance of DPBAC was thoroughly investigated for the removal of two structurally different organic dyes namely methyl violet (MV) and fuchsin basic (FB). The key adsorption parameters, including the dose of DPBAC (A: 0.02–0.06 g), the solution pH (B: 4–10), and the contact time (C: 2–20 min) were statistically optimized using the Box-Behnken design with response surface methodology (RSM
