The Negative Relationship between Earthworms and Pesticides
...Show More Authors

Degradation of soil quality is an inevitable consequence of modifications to the characteristics of the soil that contribute to a decrease in ecosystem services. Numerous stressors, including chemical, biological, and physical ones, as well as those originating from both natural and artificial sources. The most prevalent kind of soil contamination that contaminates soil biota is agrochemicals. Soil is the most common place for xenobiotic dumping, which makes it the most probable source of other natural resources' pollution, such as surface and ground waters, based on the results of several studies. The danger to the environment posed by polluted soils is influenced by a variety of biological and physicochemical mechanisms that regulate the mobility and transformation of pesticides. However, species that are both above and below ground and are vital to the functioning of soil are seriously threatened by the insecticides' ability to linger in soil. Using living soil biota selectively is one of the effective ways to clean soil. This procedure is known as. In the past, chemical residues in soil have been removed or their toxicity decreased by the use of bioremediation. Even though microbes are frequently used in bioremediation, some well-known soil fauna, such as earthworms, contribute significantly to the disintegration and purification of substances. Because they change the state of the People consider earthworms to be soil engineers. Earthworms are capable of soil, help break down pesticide residues in one of two ways: directly by releasing detoxifying enzymes into their digestive tracts or indirectly by favorably influencing microbial communities that have the ability to break down pesticides. The earthworm-supported breakdown of pesticides is mostly limited to the worms' processed soil and gut milieu. Histological alterations brought on by pollutants are believed to be a sensitive method of determining the test organism's direct exposure to certain chemical contaminants. This study's objective was to ascertain how the pesticide methiocarb affected earthworms. After ten days of exposure to sublethal dosages (200 and 400 mg/kg), earthworms underwent several histological changes. such as villi fusion, tearing of the body wall, as well as the breakdown of the cuticle and circular muscle layer. They also become less able to dig in the ground.

Phylogenetic Relationship of Iraqi Vespa orientalis Linnaeus 1771 Wasps Using Mitochondrial CO1
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Oriental wasps are scavengers, and they have also represented an enormous issue for beekeepers, they destroy beehives and reduce the flight of bees. In addition, the sting of hornets may cause medical problems, which differ according to the response of the individuals, including severe sensitivity, swelling, and slight pain. This study provides the first molecular phylogeny of the oriental wasp Vespa orientalis L. in Iraq. Mitochondrial DNAs of the 547bp fragment cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 (CO1) area were sequenced and analyzed from 10 wasp specimens collected in the north, middle, and south of Iraq. The CO1 gene found in the Iraqi isolates was used to cre</p> ... Show More

The study aims to reveal the level of professional development in basic education schools from the male and female teachers’ viewpoint in the Sultanate of Oman. It further aims to examine its relationship with some variables in light of Sullivan theory, and the differences in the level of professional development (teachers’ skills, professional participation, professional development problems) according to the gender variable, and the educational stage (first cycle/ second cycle). The study sample consisted of (93) teachers distributed as such: (46) male teachers, and (47) female teachers. A questionnaire was prepared and applied to measure the level of the professional development of the male and female teachers. The questionnaire c

Resource consumption accounting technique between traditional cost systems and contemporary cost management techniques in measuring the cost of products - A conceptual vision
...Show More Authors

The contemporary business environment is witnessing increasing calls for modifications to the traditional cost system, and a trend towards adopting cost management techniques to provide appropriate financial and non-financial information for senior and executive departments, including the Resource Consumption Accounting (RCA) technique in question, which classifies costs into fixed and variable to support the decision-making process. Moreover, (RCA) combines two approaches to cost estimation, the first based on activity-based cost accounting (ABC) and the second on the German cost accounting method (GPK). The research aims to provide a conceptual vision for resource consumption accounting, after Considering it as an accounting te

The present paper deals with medical terms translation and its relationship with the medical text of Arabic and Spanish. Medical translation is the process of transferring texts related to the field of health and medicine to achieve an accurate effective translation from the source language text to the equivalent target language text. The most prominent medical translations are from English to Arabic as most of the syllabuses in Arab countries are taught in English.

Translation is an innovative work intended to render the original text in the source language into the target language with the highest level of linguistic and intellec

Abstract: Background: Optical biosensors offer excellent properties and methods for detecting bacteria when compared to traditional analytical techniques.  It allows direct detection of many biological and chemical materials.  Bacteria are found in the human body naturally non-pathogenic and pathologically, as they are found in other living organisms.  One of these bacteria is Escherichia coli (E. coli) which are found in the human body in its natural and pathogenic form. E.coli bacteria cause many diseases, including Stomach, intestines, urinary system infections, and others. The aim of this study: is sensing and differentiation between normal flora and pathogenic E.coli. Material and method:
