VARIOUS APPLICATIONS OF CARBAZONE DERIVATIVES AND THEIR METAL COMPLEXES : A REVIEW
...Show More Authors

Carbazone Derivatives (CD) (semicarbazone, semithiocarbasone) are produced by the condensation reaction between a aldehyde (or ketone) with a carbazide derivatives (semicarbazide, semithiocarbazide). CD and their metal complexes existent a wide range of implementation that stretch from their ply in the medicinal and pharmaceutical area because of their major significant pharmacological characteristic such as anti-fungal,anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, anti-human immunodeficiency virus, anti-inflammation, anti-neoplastic,inhibition corrosion, antioxidation, antiradical. This paper reviews the definition, importance and various applications of carbazone derivatives with transitional meta

New complexes of the [M(Ura)(Phen)(OH2)Cl2]Cl.2H2O type, where (Ura) uracil ; (Phen) 1,10-phenanthroline hydrate; M (Cr+3 , Fe+3 and La+3) were synthesized from mix ligand and characterized . These complexes have been characterized by the elemental micro analysis, spectral (FT-IR., UV-Vis, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and Mass) and magnetic susceptibility as well the molar conductive mensuration. Cr+3, Fe+3 and La+3- complexes of six–coordinated were proposed for the insulated for three metal(III) complexes for molecular formulas following into uracil property and 1,10-phenanthroline hydrate present . The proposed molecular structure for all metal (III) complexes is octahedral geometries .The biological activity was tested of metal(III) salts, liga

A Study of Forward Osmosis Using Various Drawing Agent
...Show More Authors

This research was aimed to study the osmotic efficiency of the draw solutions and the factors affecting the performance of forward osmosis process : The draw solutions used were magnesium sulfate hydrate (MgSO4.7H2O) pojtassium chloride (KCL), calcium chloride (CaCl2) and ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3). It was found that water flux increases with increasing draw solution concentration, and feed solution flow rate and decreases with increasing draw solution flow rate and feed solution concentration. And also found that the efficiency of the draw solutions is in the following order:

CaCl2> KCI > NH4HCO3> MgSO4.7H

Metal Complexes of Multidentate N2S2 Heterocyclic Schiff-base Ligands;Formation, Structural Characterisation and Biological Activity
...Show More Authors

The synthesis of ligands with N2S2 donor sets that include imine, an amide, thioether, thiolate moieties and their metal complexes were achieved. The new Schiff-base ligands; N-(2-((2,4-diphenyl-3-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-ylidene)amino)ethyl)-2-((2-mercaptoethyl)thio)-acetamide (H2L1) and N-(2-((2,4-di-p-tolyl-3-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-9-ylidene)amino)ethyl)-2-((2-mercaptoethyl)thio) acetamide (H2L2) were obtained from the reaction of amine precursors with 1,4-dithian-2-one in the presence of triethylamine as a base in the CHCl3 medium. Complexes of the general formula K2[M(Ln)Cl2], (where: M = Mn (II), Co(II) and Ni(II)) and [M(Ln)], (where: M = Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II); n =1-2, expect [Cu(HL2)Cl]) were isolated. The entity of ligands and
