Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) currently seems
inevitable and unavoidable for a large swath of the
population .its etiology relates to a strong ,but
complex ,non mendelian genetic basis ,combined
with mechanical and metabolic factors that cause
molecular alterations the end results of which
affect the whole joint .Glucosamine and
chondrotin sulfate alone or in combination may be
of benefit to a subgroup of individuals who have
knee pain due to OA.
Glucosamine has been shown to alter cartiage turn
over in patients with OA undergoing physical
training
Aim of the study: To find the validity of
glucosamine chondrotin sulfate in treatment of
grade 1 and 2 OA.
Methods: the sample of 280 patients

In this study, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized using a plasma jet system at different exposure times. Using ultraviolet, visible spectra, X-ray diffraction, the nanoparticles were characterized (XRD). A Plasmon surface resonance concentrated at 530, 540, and 533 nm for the prepared AuNPs. Tin oxide was deposited by using vacuum thermal method on silicon wafer engraved by Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machine. The inscription was engraved by diamond-made brine. Deep 0.05 mm in the form of concentric squares. Electrical results in the dark were shown high value of forward current and the high value of the detection factor from 6.42 before engraving to 10.41 after engraving. (I-V) characters in illumination with powers (50, 100, 150, 200, 250) mW/cm2 show Improved properties of the detector, Especially at power (150, 200, 250) mW/cm2. Response improved in rise time from 2.4 μs to 0.72 μs and time of inactivity improved 515.2 μs to 44.2 μs. Sensitivity angle increased at zone from 40o to 65o.

In the current study, synthesis and characterization of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) before and after functionalization with ampicillin antibiotic and their application as anti-pathogenic agents towards bacteria were investigated. AgNPs were synthesized by a green method from AgNO3 solution with glucose subjected to microwave radiation. Characterization of the nanoparticles was conducted using UV-Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), zeta potential determination and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
