          Physicochemical characteristics of groundwater in AL-Miqdadiyah town were studied by taking random water samples from six differents wells from July to December 2010. The results were compared with the international standards for drinking-water of WHO and FAO and the iraqian limits . Fourteen parameters were analysed. It was found that most of studied wells waters in the allowed limits for drinking water . Except W1 & W2 which had the hight values of turbidity during summer  season only . This study aims to discover the degree of the extent of exposure of Iraqi people to the news broadcasting satellites in Arabic language, (Al Jazeera, Al Arabiya, Al Ekhbariya Satellite Channels) as one of the media that serves the public; and to discover the range of these Satellite Channels in covering the local Iraqi situation in different sides and aspects; and to know the significance of the Iraqi people in watching those news programmers; and state the motives behind the Iraqi public's dependence on these channels.

Treating UTIs empirically with antimicrobials improves morbidity rates. This study aims to assess the prevalence of UTI-associated bacteria in adult patients and to determine their antibiotic susceptibility profile. A retrospective study was conducted for adult outpatients who visited Al-Diwaniya tertiary hospitals from January 2020 till February 2022 to review their medical and lab records in addition to sociodemographic data.
