In this paper, the Monte Carlo N-Particle extended  computer code (MCNP) were used to design a model of the European Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor. The multiplication factor, conversion factor, delayed neutrons fraction, doppler constant, control rod worth, sodium void worth, masses for major heavy nuclei, radial and axial power distribution at high burnup are studied. The results show that the reactor breeds fissile isotopes with a conversion ratio of 0.994 at fuel burnup 70 (GWd/T), and minor actinides are buildup inside the reactor core. The study aims to check the efficiency of the model on the calculation of the neutronic parameters of the core at high burnup.

Tetradentate complexes type [M (HL) 2] were prepared from the reaction of 2-hydroxy -1, 2-diphynel-ethanone oxime [H2L] and KOH with ( Mn II, Fe II, Co II, Ni II , Cu II and Hg II ), in methanol with (2:1) metal: ligand ratio. The general formula for Cu II and Mn II complexes are [M (HL) 2 Cl.H2O] K, for Co II [Co (HL) 2. H2O] and [M (HL) 2] for the rest of complexes. ABSTRACT : A new ligand [ 2- (3-acetylthioureido)-3-phenylpropanoic acid (APA) is synthesized by reaction of acetyl isothiocyanate with phenylalanine (1:1). It is characterized by micro elemental analysis (C.H.N.S.), FT-IR, (UV-Vis) and 1H and 13CNMR spectra. Some metals ions complexes of this ligand were prepared and characterized by FT-IR, UV-Visible spectra, conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility and atomic absorption. From results obtained, the following formula [M(APA)2] where M2+ = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg, the proposed molecular structure for these complexes as tetrahedral geometry, except copper complex is has square planer geometry.

New Fourteen compounds were synthesized in four steps. The first step included synthesis of 2-biphenyl fused ring of imidazo(1,2- a)pyrimidine from the reaction of 2-aminopyrimidine and biphenyl phenacyl bromide . The second step was introduced aldehyde group from the reaction of 2-biphenyl fused rings of imidazo(1,2-a)pyrimidine with POCl3 in presence of DMF and CHCl3. 3-Carbaladehyde derivatives of fused imidazo/pyrimidine was reacted with different aromatic amines to afford new Schiff bases.
