Background: The thyroid gland, a vital endocrine organ, the thyroid gland synthesizes and secretes hormones, such as triiodothyronine (T3), thyroxine (T4), and calcitonin. The pineal gland produces and releases melatonin, which is stimulated in the dark and suppressed in the presence of light. Objectives: This study aimed to assess how melatonin influences adult male rats’ thyroid performance. Methods: Eighteen adults male Wistar albino rats (Rattus norvegicus) (approximately 12-14 weeks old and weighing 220±10 g) were randomly divided into three groups, each containing six rats, and were treated for 30 days as follows: The control group (A) received distilled water (DW). The A1 group received 10 mg/kg body weight (B.W.) of melatonin orally daily, and the A2 group received 20 mg/kg B.W. of melatonin orally daily for 30 days. At the end of the study, blood was drawn by cardiac puncture, and serum was collected to assess thyroid hormone levels: T3, T4, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), and total antioxidant capacity (TAC).Results: T3 levels increased dramatically in the A2 group, whereas T4 and TSH levels remained constant. On the other hand, there was a significant increase in TAC in the A1 groups compared with the control and A2-treated groups. The histological section of the thyroid glands revealed the normal histological structure of the thyroid in the A1 group compared to the A2 group. Besides, the figures of the thyroid gland in the A2 group showed severe vascular degeneration and necrosis of thyroid follicles. Conclusion: Treatment with melatonin at higher doses may influence thyroid hormone regulation, highlighting its potential physiological effects, while melatonin at a dose of 10 mg/kg plays a key role in regulating thyroid functions and enhancing antioxidant status.
Background: Hypothyroidism is a decrease in the production of the thyroid hormones and leads to gland dysfunction. Ashwagandha extract was used as an ayurvedic treatment and supposed to be as antihypothyroidism agent.
Objectives: to investigate the impact of ashwagandha (Ash) extract on propylthiouracil (PTU)-induced hypothyroidism in rats.
Subjects and Methods: The rats were divided into three groups, control group, PTU (hypothyroid) group (6mg/kg/day by oral route), PTU (6mg/kg/day by oral route) +Ash (50mg/kg/day by oral route) treated group. All treatment continued for

The aim of the present study is to innovate a biochemical relationship between MS and thyroid hormones (THs) by highlighting immunological responses and also to examine the action of Interferon beta (IFNβ) drug on thyroid hormone (THs) and thyroid stimulation hormone (TSH). The digital image is decomposed using 2-level DWT and the middle and high frequency sub-bands are used for watermark and digital signature embedding. The authentication data are embedded in number of the coefficients of these sub-bands according to the adaptive threshold based on the watermark length and the coefficients of each DWT level. These sub-bands are used because they a

The problem was the negative effects of the organizational silence on the morale of the employees and consequently their performance and the quality of function life. To collect the data and information needed to measure the two variables of research conducted in the health center / Sulaikh by taking a sample of (40) employees to test the hypotheses of research through the survey of their views, using statistical tools non parametric using the program. This study seeks to address this gap by assessing the performance of AI-intelligence in analyzing (broadly) revolutionary processes and their effects on regional political systems. The research uses a mixedmethod methodology that involves a systematic literature review of contemporary scholarly articles, and an analytics study using AI tools. Our results show t

First by growing its profits, then by evading taxes and denying the state its right to its money. Using this research, we hope to demonstrate how financial institutions that use innovative accounting tools in the preparation of their financial statements impact trade activity. Trading volume is critical to accurately forecasting stock price patterns, allowing investors to maximize their wealth. So, without accounting information, the financial
