In this study, manganese dioxide (MnO₂) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized via the hydrothermal method and utilized for the adsorption of Janus green dye (JG) from aqueous solutions. The effects of MnO₂ NPs on kinetics and diffusion were also analyzed. The synthesized NPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), with XRD confirming the nanoparticle size of 6.23 nm. The adsorption kinetics were investigated using three models: pseudo-first-order (PFO), pseudo-second-order (PSO), and the intraparticle diffusion model. The PSO model provided the best fit (R² = 0.999), indicating that the adsorption process is chemical in nature. Kinetic analysis revealed that the MnO₂ surface exhibited faster adsorption kinetics during the film diffusion step (rate constant 0.2776) compared to intraparticle diffusion (0.0042) at 298.15 K. Thermodynamic parameters, including enthalpy change (∆H*), entropy change (∆S*), and Gibbs free energy change (∆G*) of activation, were calculated from the Eyring equation to be 37.48 kJ/mol and -144.69 J/mol, respectively. The positive ∆G* value (80.62 kJ/mol) suggests that the adsorption process is energy-intensive, requiring higher energy to form chemical bonds between JG and MnO₂ nanoparticles. A crucial area of research in nanotechnology is the formation of environmentally benign nanoparticles. Both unicellular and multicellular play an important role in synthesis nanoparticles through the production of inorganic materials either intracellularly or extracellularly. The agents (pigments, siderophores, cell extracted metabolites and reducing compounds) were used to prepare silver nanparticles with different sizes and shapes. The color variations (dark yellow, slightly dark yellow and golden yellow) arising from changes in the composition, size, and shape of nanoparticles, surrounding medium can be monitored using UV-visible spectrophotometer. These effects are due to the phenomena called surface plasmon resonance. The silver nanopa

These nanoparticles then were characterized by several techniques, such as X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM). The results showed that the diffraction peak of MnO2 nanoparticles was similar to that of standard data. The images of AFM and SEM indicated that the MnO2 nanorods were growing from the MnO2 nano spherical shape. PVA-pentaerythritol/MnO2 nanocomposite films were fabricated by evaporating casting method. The dielectric constant and loss tangent of P-Ery/MnO2 films were measured between 10 kHz and 1 MHz using LCR. As the content of MnO2 increased, the dielectric constant

AgNPs were synthesized by a green method from AgNO3 solution with glucose subjected to microwave radiation. Characterization of the nanoparticles was conducted using UV-Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), zeta potential determination and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. From SEM analysis, the typical silver nanoparticle particle size was found to be 30 nm and Zeta potential measurements gave information about particle stability. In this study, Nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiO-NPs) were synthesized using the aqueous extract of Laurus nobilis leaves as a natural capping agent. The synthesized NiO-NPs were employed as an adsorbent for the removal of Biebrich Scarlet (BS) dye from aqueous solution using adsorption technique. Comprehensive characterization of NiO-NPs was performed using various techniques such as atomic force microscopy (AFM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett and Teller (BET) analysis, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Show MoreChromium tanned leather wastes (CTLW) and vegetable tanned leather wastes (VTLW) were used as adsorbent materials to remove the Biebrich scarlet dye (BS), as an anionic dye from wastewater, using an adsorption method. The effects of various factors, such as weight of leather waste, time of shaking, and the starting concentration of Biebrich scarlet dye, temperature and pH were studied. It described the adsorption process using Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. The obtained results agreed well with the Langmuir model, and the maximum adsorption capacities of CTLW and VTLW were 73.5294 and 78.1250 mg.g⁻¹, respectively, suggesting a monolayer adsorption process. The adsorption kinetic was found to follow a pseudo-second-order kinetic
