Generation of new clones of multidrug resistant infectious foci of environmental, zoonotic and reverse zoonotic Enterococcus faecalis & faecium strains from cases of mastitis in cows privileged in Baghdad ecosystem reveal unsafe tricks. Medically important plants Blackcurrant, London Plane and Pine Buds are widely used for resolving these public health threats and hazards as powerful antimicrobial preparations. Totally sixty pooled milk samples were collected from apparently healthy (30 units) and infected (30 units) Cows from different regions of Abu-Ghraib during March until July (2019). Integrated units were checked by California mastitis test and a designed scheme was dependent for recovery of pathogenic Enterococci. Gram staining and catalase was proceeds. VITEK 2 (bioMérieux) technology ribbon biochemical identification system was used to segregate faecalis strain from faecium one. Group D Enterococci were confirmed by Lancefield’s serological grouping. Biofilm-formation assay was followed as an important biomarker clue for antibiotics resistance barriers. Modified Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion assay using Muller-Hinton agar was dependent for checking susceptibility of recovered strains to selected antibiotics Penicillin, Methicillin, Vancomycin, Amikacin & Ciprofloxacin. Watery & alcoholic extracts of selected plants were prepared according to recommendations of Codex international standards of Association of Official Agricultural Chemists (AOAC) & modified disc inhibition assay with determination of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC titer) & minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC titer) were proceeds. Chi-square analysis via SPSS software was dependent. Qualified data descriptions regarding recovery of seventeen (28.33%) strains out of sixty samples in which, ten (16.66%) strains were recovered from mastitic milk units & seven (11.66%) strains were recovered from apparently abnormal milk units. Ten (16.66%) strains were confirmed as E. faecalis: Seven (11.66%) clones from mastitic milk units versus three (5%) clones from apparently abnormal milk units. Seven (11.66%) strains were confirmed as E. faecium: Five (8.33%) clones from mastitic milk units versus two (3.33%) clone from apparently abnormal milk units. All recovered strains were Gram-positive purple beaded cocci, Catalase negative, Lancefield group D & biofilm-producing. All strains were very resistant to all selected antibiotics. Diverse efficacy index was present among selected plants extracts in which, active ingredients index revealed powerful inhibitory level & titer for London Plane followed by Pine Buds then Blackcurrant against these powerful multidrug resistant recovered clones. In conclusion, frequency & distribution of pathogenic multidrug resistant foodborne Enterococci in our ecosystem represent privileged hazard chain of contamination that can be reduced or overcome by natural antimicrobial replacements like these extracts.
Background: Helicobacters are motile curved, oxidase and catalase positive,
gram negative rods similar in morphology to vibrios. The cells have polar flagella
and are often attached at their ends given pairs "S" shapes or seagull
appearance.
Object i ves: The present study was undertaken to estimate the serodiffusion of
H. pylori and hepatitis A virus (HAV) in 300 patients attending two centers in
Baghdad.
Metthods:: HAV was determined by the detection of HAV-IgM in the serum samples. Detection of H. pylori was by ELISA and endoscopic examination.
Resul t s: The serodiffusion of H. pylori was 40% (n=120). Out of the 120
patients infected with H. pylori, 50(41 .6%) patients were diagnosed clinically to

Trace elements concentrations are frequently reported to be a good indicator for diagnosis and prognosis of some disease. The levels of copper, zinc, manganese, and magnesium were measured in serum of two group. Group one contains (52) newborn jaundice patients while the second group contains (20) healthy newborn used as controls.
In this study the concentration of Cu, Zn, Mg, and Mn were measured using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). It has been found that zinc level is significantly lower in newborn jaundice patients compared with normal subjects at (p<0.05) , also the level of Cu, Mg, and Mn were significantly
