In this study, several ionanofluids (INFs) were prepared in order to study their efficiency as a cooling medium at 25 °C. The two-step technique is used to prepare ionanofluid (INF) by dispersing multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in two concentrations 0.5 and 1 wt% in ionic liquid (IL). Two types of ionic liquids (ILs) were used: hydrophilic represented by 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate [EMIM][BF4] and hydrophobic represented by 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate [HMIM][PF6]. The thermophysical properties of the prepared INFs including thermal conductivity (TC), density and viscosity were measured experimentally. The TC measurement showed an enhancement of about 3% for INF and of 1% MWCNT in [EMIM][BF4] at a temperature of 298.15 K: the TC was 0.186 W/m.K, the kinematic viscosity was 100 centistokes (cSt), and the density was 1.283 g.cm−3. On the other hand, the TC of 1% MWCNT in [HMIM][PF6] INF enhanced by 5%. In this case, at a temperature of 298.15 K, the TC was 0.158 W/m, the kinematic viscosity was 1200 cSt, and the density was 1.294 g.cm−3. Furthermore, the stability of the prepared INFs was measured using the zeta potential method after 28 days of preparation. The results show very good dispersion of the nanoparticles in the ILs for all the prepared INFs. The zeta potential was -69.30 mV and - 45.34 mV for 0.5% and 1% MWCNT in [EMIM][BF4], respectively. On the other hand, zeta potential was -51.78 and -46.67 mV for 0.5% and 1% MWCNT in [HMIM][PF6], respectively. According to the obtained results, the preferable INFs to use as a cooling medium at 25 °C was the INF of 1 wt% MWCNT in [EMIM][BF4], since it provides better thermophysical properties than the other prepared INFs.
Hartree-Fock (HF) method relies in the calculations of nonlinear optical properties (NLO) for benzoic acid molecule. Also, another theoretical study is conducted by using the TD-DFT Density Functional Theory through B3LYP/High Base Set 6-311++G (2d,2p) on Gaussian program09. Moreover, an experimental study has been done to obtain the electrons spectrum for benzoic acid with and without ethanol. While the experimental study is done by using UV/VIS. spectrophotometer. Energy gap values of electronic transition between HOMO and LUMO is obtained from theoretical and experimental results. Consequently, the theoretical result for determining the energy gap calculated from EHOMO-LUMO wasvery close to the results of UV / VIS. spectrum. A theoretica

These derivatives were tested for inhibition of E-coli and were all found to be active
The complexes of the 2-hydroxy-4-Nitro phenyl piperonalidene with metal ions Cr(III), Ni(II), Pt(IV) and Zn(II) were prepared in ethanolic solution. These complexes were characterized by spectroscopic methods, conductivity, metal analyses and magnetic moment measurements. The nature of the complexes formed in ethanolic solution was study following the molar ratio method. From the spectral studies, monomer structures proposed for the nickel (II) and Zinc (II) complexes while dimeric structures for the chromium (III) and platinum (IV) were proposed. Octahedral geometry was suggested for all prepared complexes except zinc (II) has tetrahedral geometry, Structural geometries of these compounds were also suggested in gas phase by using

Pumpkin waste powder was used as a coloring and strengthening filler in epoxy to prepare a natural gelcoat . The Pumpkin powder was mixed with different weight ratios (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8%) to the epoxy matrix to select the best value of powder addition. The effect of the pumpkin particle size on the mechanical properties (impact, flexural, hardness, and wear loss) using two different sizes (2.5 and 1.25 microns) was studied. The impact strength increased from (10.09 KJ/ m2) for neat epoxy to (14.79 KJ/ m2) for epoxy with 1% of micron pumpkin fibers ( MPF) with particle size 2.5 micrometer and (14.21 KJ/ m2) for epoxy with 4% (1.25 MPF), flexural strength increased from (41.94 MPa) for n
