Discotic liquid crystal compounds were synthesized and characterized. Liquid crystalline texture of these compounds was investigated by polarized optical microscopy (POM). The Hartree-Fock approximation (HF) was used to calculate theoretical molecular parameters for synthesized compounds such as optimization, hardness, EHOMO, ELUMO, and energy gap using the Gaussian 09W program.

In this paper, an experimental study of the thermal performance for hybrid solar air conditioning system was carried out, to investigate system suitability for the hot climate in Iraq. The system consists of vapor compression unit combined with evacuated tube solar collector and liquid storage tank. In this present paper, an experimental study of some plasma characteristics in dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) system using several variables, such as different frequencies and using two different electrodes metals(aluminium (Al) and copper (Cu)), is represented. The discharge plasma was produced by an AC power supply source of 6 and 7 kHz frequencies for the nitrogen gas spectrum and for two different electrodes metals(Al and Cu). Optical emission spectrometer was used to study plasma properties (such as electron temperature ( ), electron number density ( ), Debye length ( ), and plasma frequency ( )). Salbutamol sulphate nebules is considered as the most rapid effective route of
administration for treatment of acute attacks of asthma .
This study was carried out to formulate a stable formula of salbutamol nebules
containing 0.1% (2.5mg / 2.5ml) of the active ingredient in a buffered solution .
Stability study in different buffers at pH 3 showed that the longest shelf life was
equal to 3.5 years for formula F .In addition the bioequivalency of this formula
incomparison to ventolin® nebules was measured and it was equal to (± 5.2) %.
