A new ligand type (O₂) [2,3-O-diacetyl-5,6-O-benzylidene L- ascorbic acid] [L] and its complexes of general formula [M(L)₂(X)(Y)]Cl_n (where: M=Cr^III ,X=Y=H₂O, n=3; Co^II, X = Y = 0, n= 2; Ni^II and Cu^II, X = Cl, Y = H₂O, n= 1; Zn^II, X = Y = H₂O,n = 2) are reported. The ligand was prepared in two steps; first step involved the synthesis of [5,6-O-benzylidene-L-ascorbic acid] (A). Four  alkaloids  compounds  were  extracted  from  the  fruits  and leaves, of plant known locally as (Anab AI-Thebe Solanum nigram), by various solvents systems, from an earlier study by the researcher.        Current study obtained (75) isolate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa collected from different cases included : 28 isolates from otitis media, 23 isolates from burn infections, 10 isolates from wound infections, 8 isolates from urinary tract infections and 6 isolates from blood, during the period between 1/9/2014 to 1/11/2014

In this work, the effect of preparing a composite of copper oxide nanoparticles with carbon on some of its optical properties was studied. The composite preparing process was carried out by exploding graphite electrodes in an aqueous suspension of copper oxide. The properties of the plasma which is formed during the explosion were studied using emission spectroscopy in order to determine the most important elements that are present in the media. The fingerprinting DNA method which depends on the unique pattern in this study was employed to detect the hydatid cyst of Echinococcus granulosus and to determine the genetic variation among their strains in different intermediate hosts (cows and sheep).  The unique pattern represents the number of amplified bands and their molecular weights with specialized sequences to one sample which different from the other samples.   Five hydatitd cysts samples  from cows and sheep were  collected, genetic analysis for  isolated DNA was done using PCR technique and  Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA reaction(RAPD) depending on (4) random primers, and the results showed:
