Predicting a New Δ‐Proton Sponge‐Base of 4,12‐Dihydrogen‐4,8,12‐triazatriangulene through Proton Affinity, Aromatic Stabilization Energy, and Aromatic Magnetism
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Herein, we report designing a new Δ (delta‐shaped) proton sponge base of 4,12‐dihydrogen‐4,8,12‐triazatriangulene (compound 1) and calculating its proton affinity (PA), aromatic stabilization, natural bond orbital (NBO), electron density ρ(r), Laplacian of electron density ∇2ρ(r), (2D‐3D) multidimensional off‐nucleus magnetic shielding (σzz(r) and σiso(r)), and scanning nucleus‐independent chemical shift (NICSzz and NICS). Density functional theory (DFT) at B3LYP/6‐311+G(d,p), ωB97XD/6‐311+G(d,p), and PW91/def2TZVP were used to compute the magnetic shielding variables. In addition, relevant bases like pyridine, quinoline, and acridine were also studied and compared. The protonation of compound 1 yields a highly symmetric carbocation of three Hückel benzenic rings. Comparing our findings of the studied molecules showed that compound 1 precedes others in PA, aromatic isomerization stabilization energy, and basicity. Therefore, the basicity may be enhanced when a conjugate acid gains higher aromatic features than its unprotonated base. Both multidimensional σzz(r) and σiso(r) off‐nucleus magnetic shieldings outperformed electron‐based techniques and can visually monitor changes in aromaticity that occur by protonation. The B3LYP/6‐311+G(d,p), ωB97XD/6‐311+G(d,p), and PW91/def2TZVP levels showed no significant differences in detailing isochemical shielding surfaces.</p>

Impacts of Denial-of-Service Attack on Energy Efficiency Pulse Coupled Oscillator
...Show More Authors

The Pulse Coupled Oscillator (PCO) has attracted substantial attention and widely used in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), where it utilizes firefly synchronization to attract mating partners, similar to artificial occurrences that mimic natural phenomena. However, the PCO model might not be applicable for simultaneous transmission and data reception because of energy constraints. Thus, an energy-efficient pulse coupled oscillator (EEPCO) has been proposed, which employs the self-organizing method by combining biologically and non-biologically inspired network systems and has proven to reduce the transmission delay and energy consumption of sensor nodes. However, the EEPCO method has only been experimented in attack-free networks without

Nanomaterials have an excellent potential for improving the rheological and tribological properties of lubricating oil. In this study, oleic acid was used to surface-modify nanoparticles to enhance the dispersion and stability of Nanofluid. The surface modification was conducted for inorganic nanoparticles (NPs) TiO₂ and CuO with oleic acid (OA) surfactant, where oleic acid could render the surface of TiO2-CuO hydrophobic. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the surface modification of NPs. The main objective of this study was to investigate the influence of adding modified TiO₂-CuO NPs with weight ratio 1:1 on thermal-physical propertie

Preparation, Characterization and Biological Activity of New Derivatives of 3-Cyclic Oxazepine, 3-Cyclic Lactam and 3- Aminomethyl Imidazo (1, 2-a) Benzthiazol
...Show More Authors

In this work a series of fourteen new compounds were synthesized. Compound [1] was formed from the reaction of 2-aminobenzothiazole and p-bromophenacyl bromide. Aldehyde group [2] was obtained from the reaction of compound [1] with pocl3 in presence of DMF and CHCl3 .After that shiff bases have been synthesized from the reaction of compound [2] with different aromatic amine to give new shiff bases [3- 5]. These new shiff bases have been reduced to their corresponding amine [6-8] by means of sodium borohydride. Then reaction of shiff bases [3-5] with phenyl isocyanate gives 3-cyclic lactam derivatives [9-11]. 3-cyclic Oxazepine derivatives [12-14] were obtained by reaction of shiff bases [3-5] with succinic anhydride. These new formed co

“Actual Experience”: Correcting Misconceptions Through Analyzing Harriet Wilson’s Our Nig
...Show More Authors

African-American writers during the 19th century wrote in the shadow of the prominent romance, sentimental, and domestic fiction. Harriet Wilson’s Our Nig (1859) reflects an “alternative social character”, for the female protagonist suffers racism in the free North, because she is a mulatto child. Through depicting the life of free blacks, who supposedly lives a better life than Southern slaves, Wilson exposes how she has actually lived and sensed life in antebellum America. According to Raymond Williams (2011), there are two kinds of literary writings. The first represents the general tendency of the age, and he calls it “dominant social character”; representing the majority content of both the public writing and speaking. But, a

Artificial intelligence (AI) is entering many fields of life nowadays. One of these fields is biometric authentication. Palm print recognition is considered a fundamental aspect of biometric identification systems due to the inherent stability, reliability, and uniqueness of palm print features, coupled with their non-invasive nature. In this paper, we develop an approach to identify individuals from palm print image recognition using Orange software in which a hybrid of AI methods: Deep Learning (DL) and traditional Machine Learning (ML) methods are used to enhance the overall performance metrics. The system comprises of three stages: pre-processing, feature extraction, and feature classification or matching. The SqueezeNet deep le

Solving quaternion nonsymmetric algebraic Riccati equations through zeroing neural networks
...Show More Authors

<p>Many variations of the algebraic Riccati equation (ARE) have been used to study nonlinear system stability in the control domain in great detail. Taking the quaternion nonsymmetric ARE (QNARE) as a generalized version of ARE, the time-varying QNARE (TQNARE) is introduced. This brings us to the main objective of this work: finding the TQNARE solution. The zeroing neural network (ZNN) technique, which has demonstrated a high degree of effectiveness in handling time-varying problems, is used to do this. Specifically, the TQNARE can be solved using the high order ZNN (HZNN) design, which is a member of the family of ZNN models that correlate to hyperpower iterative techniques. As a result, a novel

The manifestations of climate change are increasing with the days: sudden rains and floods, lakes that evaporate, rivers that experience unprecedentedly low water levels, and successive droughts such as the Tigris, Euphrates, Rhine, and Lape rivers. At the same time, energy consumption is increasing, and there is no way to stop the warming of the Earth's atmosphere despite the many conferences and growing interest in environmental problems. An aspect that has not received sufficient attention is the tremendous heat produced by human activities. This work links four elements in the built environment that are known for their high energy consumption (houses, supermarkets, greenhouses, and asphalt roads) according t
