The abdominal nerve cord of some species of Iraq Carabids has been studied to evaluate
the variation in the number of the abdominal ganglia among the species and to find out
relation of these variations with the classical taxonomy of the family Carabidae into tribes.

The present study on some wild medical taxa has been carried out from the cytological view-points by using iron-acetocarmine squashtechnique.The chromosome numbers of Diplotaxis harra n=13, Eruca sativa n=11, both Carduus pycnocephallus n=29 and Datura stramonium n=10 were the new reports. Five bread wheat cultivars was selected namely, IPA99, Tamouz 2, Rasheed, Abu-ghraib And Iraq, were selected for susceptibility to green bug, Schizaphis graminum R.(Aphididae: Homoptera) infestation. Experiments done in under laboratory temperature 20±2C˚, humidity 65±5 % at 12h light. Results have indicated that IPA99 was highly preferred by in S. graminum and no significant of differences with Rasheed and Abu-ghraib, while Iraq and Tamouz2 came second. The nuclear structure of some cobalt (Co) isotopes with mass number A=56-60 has been studied depending on the effect of some physical properties such as the electromagnetic properties effects, such as, elastic longitudinal form factors, electric quadrupole moments, and magnetic dipole moments. The study aimed at designing compound exercises using added weight on some skill abilities in youth soccer players aged (17 – 19) years old. The researcher sued the experimental method on (30) players aged (17 – 19) years old from Al Zawraa Sport Club. The subjects were divided into three groups and the training program was applied for (8) weeks with (3) training sessions per week. The impact of smoking on human health is remarkable and can lead to death. This research was performed to test the effects of cigarette smoking on some parameters that are considered as signs of critical problems in human body. The study was carried out on fifty Iraqi male smokers in Baghdad city, who smoked at least 10 cigarettes per day for at least 15 years. The group includes 25 male smokers with an age range of 20 -55 years and 25 male non-smokers who were collected with the same range of age for statistical comparison.
