In the present study, mixed ligand compounds of Mn(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II) were synthesized using new Ligand N1,N4-bis (pyrimidin-2-ylcarbamothioyl) succinimide (NPS) derived from [Butanedioyl diisothiocyanate with 2- aminipyridine] as first ligand, proline (pro) as second ligand and evaluation of their antioxidant activities for ligand, nickel and cobalt complex towards 1.1-Di-phenyl-2picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) will be compared to the standard anti-oxidants (i.e. the ascorbic acid). Those materials that have been prepared provided results are a result of exhibiting different activities of the radical scavenging for all of the compounds. Compounds were observed then confirmed through the Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR), proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1 HNMR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis), micro-elemental analyses (CHNS), thermal analysis (TGA), carbon13 nuclear magnetic resonance (13CNMR), atomic absorption flame (AAF), magnetic susceptibility and conductivity. The propose geometry for all complexes [M2(NPS)(pro)2]Cl2 was tetrahedral. Furthermore, the antibacterial and antifungal activity was screened for the DMSO solution concerning the ligand (NPS) and its complexes against two kinds of gram; (Staphylococcus aureas) positive and (Esherichia coli) negative and against (Candida albican) fungi
The chemical properties of chemical compounds and their molecular structures are intimately connected. Topological indices are numerical values associated with chemical molecular graphs that help in understanding the physicochemical properties, chemical reactivity and biological activity of a chemical compound. This study obtains some topological properties of second and third dominating David derived (DDD) networks and computes several K Banhatti polynomial of second and third type of DDD.
Three new polyphosphates were synthesized in good yields by reacting diethylenetriamine with the appropriate phosphate ester in ethanol under acidic conditions. The polyphosphate structures were determined using FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopies, and their elemental compositions were confirmed by EDX spectroscopy. Polyphosphates were added to poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) at low concentrations to fabricate thin films. The PVC films were irradiated with ultraviolet light for long periods, and the effect of polyphosphates as the photostabilizer was investigated by determining changes in the infrared spectra (intensity of specific functional group peaks), reduction in molecular weight, weight loss, and surface morphology. Minimal changes we

The carbon steel specimens immersed in mixture of sodium phosphate (Na2 HPO4) used as corrosion inhibitor and sodium glocunate (C6 H11 NaO7) as a scale dispersant at different concentrations (20,40, 60, 80 ppm) and at different temperature (25,50,75 and 100)ºC for (1-5) days. The corrosion inhibitors efficiency was calculated by using uninhibited and inhibited water to give 98.1%. The result of these investigations indicate that the corrosion rate decreases with the increase the corrosion inhibitors concentration at 80 ppm and at 100ºC for 5 days, (i.e,

Biosynthesis is straightforward, less-toxicity, and cost-effective technology. TiO2 NPs biosynthesis has attained consideration in recent decades. In this study, probiotic bacteria were isolated from cow’s raw milk samples, and then were identified by using the Vitek2 system; as Leuconostoc spp. included Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides (Leu.1), Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris (Leu.4), and Leuconostoc pseudomesenteroides (Leu.14). All Leuconostoc spp. isolates showed an ability for TiO2 NPs bio-production, after being incubated at anaerobic conditions (30 o C/ 24 h) in DeM

Furthermore 6-(5-(Aryl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)-2-methylphenol (5a-i) were formed at position six by two method. The first method was from cyclization their corresponding hydrazones (4a-e) of 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzohydrazide (1) using bromine in glacial acetic acid. The second method was from cyclization the hydrazide with aryl carboxylic acid in the presence of phosphorusoxy chloride. The newly synthesized compounds were characterized from their IR, NMR and mass spectra. The antioxidant properties of these compounds were screened by 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazide (DPPH) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay

The samples were dried and milled, then sulfated polysaccharides were extracted with hot water at 90°C precipitated with absolute ethanol, dialysed and lyophilized. The chemical composition was total sugars 56.4%, protein 1.3% and sulfur 19.7%. Antioxidation activity of sulfated polysaccharides was studied by four method and included estimation of ability of scavenging hydroxylated radicals, the results showed an increased in ability with increasing concentrations. The Early – Middle Miocene Ghar and Lower Fars sedimentary succession at the representative oil-well Nu-18 of the Nahr Umr oil field south Iraq; is taken by this study to investigate the sedimentological to reservoir rock facies buildups and related reservoir zonation; as first rock-typing attempt for the both formations. The sedimentological characterization of the Early Miocene Ghar formation is mainly comprised by successive buildups of sands-gravels and sandstones, whereas; the Middle Miocene Lower Fars formation is started by limestone, limestone-marly/marl anhydritic, upgraded into interbedded-series of marl and anhydrite facies, with less-common occurrences of thin-sandstone interlayers, terminated by marl-sandy-secti
