New complexes of M(II) with mixed ligand of 5-Chlorosalicylic acid (CSA) C7H5ClO3 as primary ligand and L- Valine (L-Val) C5H11NO2 as a secondary ligand were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis (C.H.N), UV., FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility, μeff (B.M) as well as the conductivity measurements (Λm ). In the complexes, the 5-chlorosalicylic acid is bidentate in all complexes coordinating through –OH- and –COO- groups; also L-Valine behaves as a bidentate ligand in all complexes through –NH2 and –COO- groups. These five mixed ligand complexes formulated as Na3[M(CSA)2(L-Val)]. The proposed molecular structure for all complexes is octahedral geometries. The synthesis complexes were tested in vitro for against four bacteria (2-gram +ve) and (2gram -ve) showing activity similar to that of (L-Val).
The predisposing factors and their effect on the increasing of vulvovaginal Candidiasis have been studied in this research. The result indicated that the highest of infection with vaginal Candidias was in the age of women with age of (21-30years) with vaginal itching and discharge, also the results revealed that the pregnancy was the main predisposing factor. The percentage of the infected pregnant Ladies was 33.7% followed by the women who used the IUCD and OCP 22.1%, those who used steroids 5.2% comparing with control women (without predisposing factors).The results also indicated that the most cases of infection were during the third trimester of pregnancy (where the rate of infedion) was 53.9%.-OCP- Oral Contraceptive Pills-IUCD- Intrr

This study was conducted on five kinds of local soybean seeds (Ibaa, Hawija, Taqa.2, Lee74 and Hassan). The chemical analysis results showed that Hawija soybean has the highest percent of protein which was 38-08%, The amino acid percent was also higher than the other kinds(lysine, Thereonine and Tryptopham), and being 389,250,81 mg/gm nitrogen respectively Both amino acids were important for child nutrition. Hawija was selected, being the best for proteins and basic amino acids, and was utilized in preparation of the adjunct baby food formula. Schiff base derived from PVA and Erythroascorbic acid derivative (pentulosono-ɣ-lactone-2, 3-enedianisoate) was synthesized and characterized by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and FTIR spectra, aldehyde was also characterized by (U.V-Vis), 1HNMR, 13CNMR and mass spectra. The inhibitory effect of prepared polymer on the activity of human serum Cholinesrerase has been studied in vitro. The polymer showed a remarkable activity at low concentration (4.5*10-3 – 4.5*10-8 M).

To study the comparative use of some soil minerals (zeolite, bentonite, phosphate rock, and limestone) in the adsorption and release of lead and its removal rates from its aqueous solutions using adsorption equations. Two laboratory experiments were carried out for the adsorption and release of lead. The adsorption experiment took 0.5 g of some of the above soil minerals.
