Background: Diabetes and periodontitis are considered as chronic diseases with a bidirectional relationship between them. This study aimed to determine and compare the severity of periodontal health status and salivary parameters in diabetic and non-diabetic patients with chronic periodontitis. Materials and Methods: Seventy participants were enrolled in this study. The subjects were divided into three groups: Group I: 25 patients had type 2 diabetes mellitus with chronic periodontitis, Group 2: 25 patients had chronic periodontitis and with no history of any systemic diseases, Group 3: 20 subjects had healthy periodontium and were systemically healthy. Unstimulated whole saliva was collected for measurement of salivary flow rate and pH.

This study was conducted in Animal Resources Department , College of Agriculture to estimate the effect of chemical and biological treatments to improve the nutritive value of poor quality roughages ( corn cobs and wild reed ) . The feeds were treated chemically with 4% NaoH solution ,whereas Aspergillus niger was used to ferment corn cobs and wild reed samples . The chemical analysis showed that protein percentages of corn cobs and wild reed was increased significantly (P<0.05) from 6.05% to 10.51% and 17.70% and from 3.10 %to 6.50% and 9.96% for both chemical and biological treatments respectively.     The main objective of this work is to generalize the concept of  fuzzy algebra by introducing the notion of  fuzzy algebra. Characterization and examples of the proposed generalization are presented, as well as several different properties of  fuzzy algebra are proven. Furthermore, the relationship between fuzzy algebra and fuzzy algebra is studied, where it is shown that the fuzzy algebra is a generalization of fuzzy algebra too. In addition, the notion of restriction, as an important property in the study of measure theory, is studied as well. Many properties of restriction of a nonempty family of fuzzy subsets of fuzzy power set are investigated and it is shown that the restriction of fuzzy algebra is fuzzy algebra too.
