A series of experiments were conducted for the first time in Iraq to evaluate the efficiency of five plant leaves extracts (Ibicella lutea, Nerium oleander, Clerodendron inerme, Allium cepa and Eucalyptus spp.) in treating the common carp (Cyprinus carpio) infected with monogenetic trematodes of genera Dactylogyrus. Five different concentrations of such extracts were used to bathe fishes for 5,10,15,20 and 25 minutes. A concentration of 15% A. cepa for 25 minutes of bath exposure was affective in trematode eradication. Extracts of both Eucalyptus and N. oleander at a concentration of 10% each were also affective for ten minutes exposure. Extracts of C. inerme had no any effect on such parasites. Three primary colors are selected (red, blue, and yellow) as preliminary study to the effect of these colors on the nano-coating. Three traditional oil paints color were used as base, then coated by a layer of TiO₂-Sol and deposited on the paints. Novel azo ligand based on tryptamine, and its metal complexes with antioxidant properties were synthesized through chemical methods and characterized through various techniques, including IR, Mass, UV-Vis spectroscopy, elemental analysis, conductivity, magnetic sensitivity, and thermogravimetric analysis. According to the IR spectra of the complexes, the azo-ligand, [5-(2-(3H- 1-indol-3-yl) ethyl) diazenyl) quinolin-8-ol] coordinates with metal ions through the nitrogen atom in the quinoline ring and the oxygen atom of the hydroxyl group. Thermal analysis techniques were employed to investigate the thermal behavior of the compounds. The current paper investigates the effect of cut-out design parameters on load-bearing capacity and buckling behaviour of steel cylindrical shell using a nonlinear finite element analysis in modelling cylinder buckling under longitudinal compressive load. The effect of four geometry design parameters: shell diameter to thickness ratio, cut-out location, orientation, and size were investigated in this study. To enhance the prediction of buckling behaviour, both geometrical and material nonlinearities were considered.
