In this paper ,six new mixed metal ligand complexes are reported with Cephalexin (Ceph.H)as a primary ligand and Dimethylglyoxime (DMG) as secondary ligand with metal Chloride [MCl2 .nH2O. M=Mn(II),Co(II),Cu(II),Ni(II) and Zn(II),n=0-6] ,CrCl3.6H2O.The complexes are of (1:1:1)(Metal:Ligand: Ligand) Stoichiometry. The structures of these complexes are confirmed by using FT-IR and UV- electronic spectroscopies, magnetic moments, melting points, molar conductivity measurements and the metal % analysis revealed that the complexes analyze indicates a four coordinated as (A)=[M(HDMG) (Ceph)] .M=[Ni(II)and Zn(II).Six coordinated as (B) = K2[M(DMG)(CePh)(H2O)]. M= Mn (II),Co(II) and Cu(II) and (C)=[Cr(DMG)(Ceph)]Cl2. Interestingly, the in-vitro antimicrobial studies on(CephH)and dimethylglyoxime) ligands and mixed metal ligand complexes against{(Staphylococcus aureus ,Bacillus Subtilis ,and Enterobacter Cloacae)} by measuring the zone of inhibition in mm. Electronic spectra data and magnetic measurements indicates that the most of the complexes have octahedral geometry except the complexes Ni(II)and Zn(II) have tetrahedral geometry.
A first step in this research was to synthesize Schiff's bases(1-3)using an Amoxcilline intensification reaction with different aromatic aldehydes in absolute ethanol. In benzene and refluxing conditions,Schiff's bases were cyclized with succinic and Phthalic anhydride to give a new sequence of 1,3-oxazepine derivatives(4-6) and (7-9),respectively.The last step, cyclization reactions with sodium azide in THF solvent resulted in the formation of [10 and 11], which are supposed to be biologically significant.FT.IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR (for compound 4,7,9, and 11),as well as melting points reported, were used to characterize these prepared compounds ,Bacillus (G+), Staphylococcus (G+), and E.Coli (G-)were screened against these compounds. . The present study aimed to the synthesis and characterization of novel chitosan Schiff base compounds using para- hydroxy benzaldeh and maleic anhydride. The derivative of the schiff-chitosan base, which is associated with different drugs, has been replaced with different amino and hydroxy drugs. The derivative is characterized by different analytical techniques. The results of FT-IR studies clearly indicate construction of the chief amine group in chitosan and the emergence of new bands that correspond to the association of maleic anhydride with the chitosan base. The products were distinguished using FTIR spectrum and Nuclear magnetic resonsnce (1H-NMR and 13CNMR), in addition to other characteristic methods such as sodium fution for sulfur determination. followed by measuring antibacterial (with different types of gram positive/gram negative bacteria) and antifungal activities of these compounds.
In this paper, some chalcone derivatives (C1, C2) were synthesized based on the reaction of equal amount of substituted acetophenone and substituted banzaldehyde in basic medium. Oxazine and thiazine derivatives were prepared from the reaction of chalcones (C1-C2) with urea and thiourea respectively in a basic medium. Pyrazole derivatives were prepared based on the reaction of chalcones with hydrazine mono hydrate or phenyl hydrazine in the presence of glacial acetic acid as a catalyst. The new synthesized compounds were identified using various physical techniques like1 H-NMR and FT-IR spectra.
This work involved the successful synthesis of three new Schiff base complexes, including Ni(II), Mn(II), and Cu(II) complexes. The Schiff base ligand was created by reacting the malonyldihydrazide molecule with naphthaldehyde, and the final step involved reacting the ligand with the corresponding metallic chloride yielding pure target complexes. FTIR, 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, mass, and UV/Vis spectroscopies were used to comprehensively characterize the produced complexes. These substances have been employed in this study to photo-stabilize polystyrene (PS) and lessen the photo-degradation of its polymeric chains. Several methods, including FTIR, weight loss, viscosity average molecular weight, light and atomic force microscopy, and energy disper

Series (A) is including the interaction of diazonium salt of trimethoprim and coupling with some substituted phenol compounds (2-amino phenol, 3-ethyl phenol, 1-naphthol, 2-nitro phenol, Salbutamol). Series (B) is including the interaction coupling alkali solution of paracetamol with diazonium salt of some substituted aniline compounds (Benzedine, 2, 3-di chloro aniline, Trimethoprim, Anilinium chloride, 2-nitro- 4-chloro aniline).Chemical structures of all synthesized compounds were confirmed by UV-visible and FTIR spectroscopy.
