The flexible joint robot (FJR) typically experiences parametric variations, nonlinearities, underactuation, noise propagation, and external disturbances which seriously degrade the FJR tracking. This article proposes an adaptive integral sliding mode controller (AISMC) based on a singular perturbation method and two state observers for the FJR to achieve high performance. First, the underactuated FJR is modeled into two simple second-order fast and slow subsystems by using Olfati transformation and singular perturbation method, which handles underactuation while reducing noise amplification. Then, the AISMC is proposed to effectively accomplish the desired tracking performance, in which the integral sliding surface is designed to reduce chattering based on two-state observers with no requirements of the velocity and acceleration measurements in the FJR system. Furthermore, an adaptive laws for switching gains are proposed for both slow and fast subsystems in the FJR to remove the requirements of knowing the up-bound of the disturbances and uncertainties. The closed loop stability of not only slow and fast subsystems but also the overall FJR is proved using the Lyapunov theorem. Finally, the simulation and experimental results demonstrate the superiority of proposed control in terms of less tracking error, significant noise suppression, and strong robustness in comparison with existing controllers.
The research aims to test the two characteristics of the relationship between accounting profits and the stock returns, to find out the suitability of both of them in explaining the relationship between accounting profits and stock returns for joint stock companies registered in the Baghdad Stock Exchange, also aims to reaching the most appropriate specification for the relationship between the two variables of the company’s stock dealing in the Baghdad Stock Exchange, and get a set of results, the most important of which are: the ability of changing for both of these variables in the profits share and the stock level of the profits does not explain more than 9,9% of the market returns of the Iraqi Joint Stock Companies registered i

Much work has been done in the field of wavelet thresholding but most of it was focused on statistical modeling of wavelet coefficients and the optimal choice of thresholds. This paper describes a new method for the suppression of noise in image by fusing the stationary wavelet denoising technique with adaptive wiener filter. The wiener filter is applied to the reconstructed image for the approximation coefficients only, while the thresholding technique is applied to the details coefficients of the transform, then get the final denoised image is obtained by combining the two results. The proposed method was applied by usin

Taking into consideration environmental, economical and health risks of the existing model, the paper focuses on the four foundations of the concepts of "city based on culture flexible mobility, "and provides a SWOT analysis to encourage for a shift in the planning methodology.
Arterial aneurism and stenosis are disorders that lead to circulation malfunction. Stenosis often leads to hypoxia of the organ depending on the affected artery, whilst aneurism can lead to dissection with known lethal consequences. On both cases, the pulse wave produced by the contracting heart is reflected at these discontinuities, and estimating the size of these reflected waves using wave intensity analysis (WIA) is the main aim of this work. We also aim to measure wave speed, or pulse wave velocity (PWV) as more commonly known within the discontinuities. We manufactured 4 stenosis and 4 aneurism silicon sections, connected one at a time to a mother tube, and tested in vitro. Pressure and flow were measured proximal to the discontinuity

To interpret and tackle the problem, a hypothesis has formulated stating that “ the competitive performance of a firm is interpreted by the manufacturing strategy and flexibility which are derived from the firm and its business strategies under the flexible manufacturing system”. Related literatures with their theoretical dissertations, which enhanced the thoughtful content, have analyzed. The fuzzy controller is a proportional-integral (PI-like) fuzzy controller which is suitable for steady state behavior of the system. Transient behavior of the system was improved without the need for a derivative action by suitable change in the rule base of the controller. Simulation results showed the step response of the two-tank level control system when this controller was used to control this plant and the effect of the dead time on the response of the system.
This research is devoted to design and implement a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA) for monitoring and controlling the corrosion of a carbon steel pipe buried in soil. A smart technique equipped with a microcontroller, a collection of sensors and a communication system was applied to monitor and control the operation of an ICCP process for a carbon steel pipe. The integration of the built hardware, LabVIEW graphical programming and PC interface produces an effective SCADA system for two types of control namely: a Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) that supports a closed loop, and a traditional open loop control. Through this work, under environmental temperature of 30°C, an evaluation and comparison were done for
