The (E)-4-chloro-N-(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)-5-((8-hydroxy quinolin-5-yl)diazenyl)-2-methoxybenzamide azo ligand (L) has been synthesized through the reaction of diazonium salt for 5-amino-4-chloro-N-(2-(dimethylamino) ethyl)-2-methoxybenzamide with 8-hydroxyquinoline and identified azo ligand (L) using spectroscopic studies (FTIR, UV-Vis, 1H and 13CNMR, mass), and micro-elemental analysis (C.H.N). Metal chelates of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), as well as Zn(II) have been completed as well as characterized using mass spectra, flame atomic absorption, elemental analysis (C.H.N), infrared, UV-Vis spectroscopy, as well as conductivity, magnetic measurements. The metal-to-ligand ratio in all complexes, as determined by analytical data, was 1:2 and ex

In this research new ibuprofen oxothiazolidnone derivatives were synthesized from the reaction of Schiff base derivatives of Ibuprofen with mercapto acetic acid VI a-c, to improve the potency and to decrease the drug's potential side effects, a new series of 4-thiazolidinone derivatives of ibuprofen was synthesized VI a-c . The characterizations of the compounds were identified by using FTIR, 1HNMR technique and by measuring the physical properties.
The researchers wanted to make a new azo imidazole as a follow-up to their previous work. The ligand 4-[(2-Amino-4-phenylazo)-methyl]-cyclohexane carboxylic acid as a derivative of trans-4-(aminomethyl) cyclohexane carboxylic acid diazonium salt, and synthesis a series of its chelate complexes with metalions, characterized these compounds using a variety technique, including elemental analysis, FTIR, LC-Mass, 1H-NMRand UV-Vis spectral process as well TGA, conductivity and magnetic quantifications. Analytical data showed that the Co (II) complex out to 1:1 metal-ligand ratio with square planner and tetrahedral geometry, respectively while 1:2 metal-ligand ratio in the Cu(II), Cr(III), Mn(II), Zn(II), Ru(III)and Rh(III)complexes

Sulfamethoxazole derivatives bear heterocyclic moieties such as 1,3,4-thiadiazine {3}, pyrazolidine-3,5-diol {4} 6-hydroxy-1,3,4-thiadiazinane-2-thione {5} and [(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)diazenyl] {8}. Their structures were elucidated by spectral methods (FT-IR, H1-NMR). Physical properties are also determined for all compound derivatives. Recently prepared compounds were tested for their antimicrobial activity in the laboratory. Each screened compound showed good tendency to moderate antimicrobial activity.
Objective: This study involved the synthesis of new Schiff bases and 1,3-oxazepine derivatives from the baclofen drug and study the anticancer activities. Methods: Baclofen was initially reacted with aromatic aldehydes to create Schiff base derivatives (Ia–Ib), which were then closed in the next step using anhydrous acids to form oxazepine derivatives (IIa–IId). Results: The title compounds were synthesized successfully and identified using FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy. Additionally, compound (IIc)’s (3-(4-chloro-phenyl)-4-[2-(4nitro-phenyl)-4,7-dioxo-4,7-dihydro-[1,3] oxazepin-3-yl]butyric acid) anticancer activity was assessed using MTT assay against FTC-133 (thyroid cancer) compared with WRL-68 (normal cell line). The ligand was subsequently used to prepare a series of metal complexes with V(IV), Fe(III), Cr(III), Mn(II), Mo(VI), and Ru(III). The ligand was characterized using 1H and 3C-NMR spectroscopy, while the metal complexes were analyzed using UV-Vis, FT-IR, and mass spectrometry, along with thermal analysis (TGA, DSC), (C.H.N.), conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, and metal and chlorine content analysis, the results indicated that the ligand exhibits tetracoordination. The complexes predominantly formed octahedral geometries, except for the vanadium complex, which
