Although Israel's national security strategy, shaped by Ben Gurion in the 1950s, has remained steadfast, Israeli leaders have been keen to adapt and change some of its means and tools to maintain its national security. These changes were a response and adaptation to the complex and geostrategic transformations in the region since the end of the cold war. Traditional challenges to Israel's national security have declined as unconventional challenges have increased. This shift has adversely affected the efficiency and effectiveness of Israel's national security strategies. It has become necessary for Israel to confront regional actions taken by minor states and regional actors that have ensured the accumulation of its military capabilities. Meanwhile, sociopolitical values in Israeli society have undergone several changes since 2011, not to mention the continuing conflict with the Palestinians. This study, therefore, aims to elaborate on the concept of national security, differentiate national security from similar concepts, and identify the threats to Israel's national security, represented by challenges arising from actions without states in the Syrian border areas, namely Quneitra, Suwayda and Daraa. Also, this study demystifies the aspects of Israel's strategies to address these challenges after 2011. Thus, this study draws on three key border cities, Quneitra, Swayda, and Daraa, which are vital parts of Syria.
Two groups of chronic hepatitis B and C virus patients were divided into Pre-treated patients (25 CHB patients with positive HBs Ag for more than 6 months and 40 CHC patients), and post-treated patients [12 CHB patients (4, 6, and 2 were treated with lamivudine, IFN-? and combination of LMV + IFN-? respectively), and 27 patients for CHC (3, 13 and 11 patients were treated with Ribavirin, IFN-? and combination therapy (RBV+ IFN-?) respectively].These patients were followed up for 6 months. The m-consecutive-k-out-of-n: F linear and circular system consists of n sequentially connected components; the components are ordered on a line or a circle; it fails if there are at least m non-overlapping runs of consecutive-k failed components. This paper proposes the reliability and failure probability functions for both linearly and circularly m-consecutive-k-out-of-n: F systems. More precisely, the failure states of the system components are separated into two collections (the working and the failure collections); where each one is defined as a collection of finite mutual disjoint classes of the system states. Illustrative example is provided.
A new mixed ligand complexes have been prepared between 8- hydroxy quinoline and o-hydroxybenzylidene-1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-amino-3-pyrazolin-5-on with Mn(II),Fe(II),Co(II),Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions . the prepared complexes were isolated and characterized by (FT-IR)and (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. This study was conducted in Animal Resources Department , College of Agriculture to estimate the effect of chemical and biological treatments to improve the nutritive value of poor quality roughages ( corn cobs and wild reed ) . The feeds were treated chemically with 4% NaoH solution ,whereas Aspergillus niger was used to ferment corn cobs and wild reed samples . The chemical analysis showed that protein percentages of corn cobs and wild reed was increased significantly (P<0.05) from 6.05% to 10.51% and 17.70% and from 3.10 %to 6.50% and 9.96% for both chemical and biological treatments respectively.
