Comparative Biochemical Study of Glutathione, Ceruloplasmin and Trace Element in Sera of Control Group and Human Female Patients with Osteoarthritis Nodal in Iraqies Patients

The present study conducted on 30 female patients with osteoarthritis 0A a
attending Baghdad teaching hosp ital, in addition to 30 healthy females , all subjects
were ( 35-65) years old.
Some biochemical parameters were measured in the sera of patients and healthy
group s. The parameters were Glutathione (GSH). Ceruloplasmin (Cp) and some trace
elements ,including Copper (Cu) ,Cu/ Cp ratio and Selenium (Se) were determined . The
results revealed a significant reduction in all parameters of patients sera compared to
healthy group .

Belief about Medications among Sample of Iraqi Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

 Inflammatory bowel disease includes both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, is a chronic, progressive relapsing disease of gastrointestinal tract that require long-term treatment or maintenance therapy. Taking patient’s beliefs about the prescribed medication in consideration had been shown to be an important factor that affects compliance of the patient in whom having positive beliefs is a prerequisite for better compliance. Seeking Help from Faith Healers among Iraqi Patients with Obsessive – Compulsive Disorder

Background: Faith healing is common in Arab culture. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is linked to religious beliefs and this can affect its management as patients may seek help from faith healers rather than mental health professionals.
Patients and methods: Patients who received a diagnosis of OCD according to DSM-IV-TR completed a questionnaire containing questions about age, gender, marital state, residence, income, level of education, and occupation. The aim of this work is study the partical distribution function g(r12,r1) for Carbon ion cases (C+2,C+3,C+4) in the position space using Hartree-Fock's Wave function, and the partitioning technique for each shell which is represented by Carbon Ions [C+2 (1s22s2)], [C+3 (1s22s)] and [C+4 (1s2)]. A comparision has been made among the three Carbon ions for each shell. A computer programs (MATHCAD ver. 2001i) has been used texcute the results.
