In our current era, women need to practice sports activities in order to compensate for the lack of movement. The development of life and the introduction of technology in all fields contributed to reducing body movements to the maximum. Many movements were also shortened, and some parts of the body became almost static. All machines became available in homes. Necessary to help women clean and cook. The presence of transportation also restricted women, so the walking sport that women used to practice when they went shopping in nearby places or to visit friends disappeared. As a result, many health problems emerged, prompting some developed countries to allocate financial aid with the help of insurance companies to these patients.The research aims to identify the reality of women’s sports in Basra Governorate. Identifying the causes of decline and identifying methods to improve them.The research hypotheses are that there are reasons and factors for the decline in women’s sports in Basra. There are methods to advance women's sports in Basra, and the sample is the heads of sports clubs and institutions and the coaches and players of women's sports teams in Basra, and the temporal domain is April 9, 2002. The spatial domain is buildings under study.(3) questionnaire forms were created to clarify the reality of women’s sports in Basra (31) questions for heads of sports clubs and institutions.The other is for female coaches and contains (21) questions, and the form for female players contains (29) questions.The two researchers recommendedIt is necessary for the Iraqi National Olympic Committee to pay attention to sports culture among feminism in particular, with field follow-up of the activities of women’s sports teams. Providing sports equipment for each game, providing means of transportation to transport the players to and from their homes after the end of training, and having the female staff carry out the training process instead of the men. The main objectives of present study are to evaluate the trace elements pollution in the sediment of the Tigris River and drainage canals in Wasit Governorate, Iraq. Assessment of trace elements pollutants were conducted for 18 sediment samples collected in March 2017. Trace elements were analyzed in sediment Tigris River samples in Wasit Governorate. This metal pollution was evaluated using geo-accumulation (I-geo) index, Contamination Factor (CF) and Pollution Load Index (PLI). In this study, concentrations of radon were measured for seventeen samples of soil distributed in three Sulphuric Spring, in addition to other regions as a background in Hit City in AL-Anbar Governorate. The radon concentrations in soil samples measured by using alpha-emitters registration that emits from radon (222Rn) in (CR-39) track detector. The concentrations values were calculated by a comparison with standard samples. The results show that the radon concentrations in first spring varies from (258.253- 347.762 Bq/m3), second spring (230.374-305.209 Bq/m3), third spring (292.002-336.023 Bq/m3) and the average radon concentration in other regions (187.821 Bq/m3).
