The reality of women's sports in Basra Governorate

In our current era, women need to practice sports activities in order to compensate for the lack of movement. The development of life and the introduction of technology in all fields contributed to reducing body movements to the maximum. Many movements were also shortened, and some parts of the body became almost static. All machines became available in homes. Necessary to help women clean and cook. The presence of transportation also restricted women, so the walking sport that women used to practice when they went shopping in nearby places or to visit friends disappeared. As a result, many health problems emerged, prompting some developed countries to allocate financial aid with the help of insurance companies to these patients.The research aims to identify the reality of women’s sports in Basra Governorate. Identifying the causes of decline and identifying methods to improve them.The research hypotheses are that there are reasons and factors for the decline in women’s sports in Basra. There are methods to advance women's sports in Basra, and the sample is the heads of sports clubs and institutions and the coaches and players of women's sports teams in Basra, and the temporal domain is April 9, 2002. The spatial domain is buildings under study.(3) questionnaire forms were created to clarify the reality of women’s sports in Basra (31) questions for heads of sports clubs and institutions.The other is for female coaches and contains (21) questions, and the form for female players contains (29) questions.The two researchers recommendedIt is necessary for the Iraqi National Olympic Committee to pay attention to sports culture among feminism in particular, with field follow-up of the activities of women’s sports teams. Allocating salaries to female players when they participate in sports teams. Emphasizing women's school sports and urging physical education teachers to take their part in encouraging female students to join school teams. Providing private, out-of-sight gyms and playgrounds so that female players can enjoy their freedom when practicing sports. Providing sports equipment for each game, providing means of transportation to transport the players to and from their homes after the end of training, and having the female staff carry out the training process instead of the men.
