Two series of Schiff Bases [VI]n and thiazolidin-4-one derivatives[VII]n were synthesized by many steps starting from cyclization of 4- hydroxyacetophenon with thiourea in iodine to yield 1,3-thiazole compound which was reacted with pentoxy bromide in anhydrous potassium carbonate to converted compound[II] and this reacted with Phenol to yield azo compound[III]. The azo compound reacted with ethyl chloro acetate in basic medium to get a new easter compound[IV] which is converted to their acid hydrazid[V]. The later compound condensation with n-alkoxy benzaldehyde to give new Schiff bases[VI]n . The preparation and spectral characterization of complexes for Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II), Zn(II) and Hg(II) ions with new organic heterocyclic azo imidazole dye as ligand 2-[(2`-cyano phenyl) azo ]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole ) (2-CyBAI) were prepared by reacting a dizonium salt solution of 2-cyano aniline with 4,5-diphenyl imidazole in alkaline ethanolic solution .These complexes were characterized spectroscopically by infrared and electronic spectra along with elemental analysis‚ molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements. In this work laser detection and tracking system (LDTS) is designed and implemented using a fuzzy logic controller (FLC). A 5 mW He-Ne laser system and an array of nine PN photodiodes are used in the detection system. The FLC is simulated using MATLAB package and the result is stored in a lock up table to use it in the real time operation of the system. The results give a good system response in the target detection and tracking in the real time operation.

            Toxoplasma gondii is an opportunistic parasite in immune-compromised persons. The prevalence of toxoplasmosis in psoriasis patients is investigated. In addition, the treatment effect on psoriasis patients infected with toxoplasmosis through evaluating Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α) cytokine levels is studied.
