     The present study explored the possible role of adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase in diabetic foot ulcers which is considered one of the main chronic complications of diabetes mellitus. Serum adenosine deaminase, guanine deaminase, and some biochemical parameters were investigated in 54 patients with diabetic foot ulcers and 40 healthy individuals. According to our findings, adenosine deaminase and guanine deaminase activities are much higher in diabetic foot ulcer patients than in healthy individuals. This paper introduces experimental results of eighteen simply supported reinforced concrete beams of cross sections ( ) and length 3000 mm to study the effect of lacing reinforcement on the performance of such beams under static and fatigue loads. Twelve reinforced concrete beams (two of them are casted with vertical shear reinforcement used as control beams) are tested under four points bending loading with displacement control technique and six laced reinforced concrete beams were exposed to high frequency (10 Hz) by fixing the fatigue load in each cycle. After Zadeh introduced the concept of z-number scientists in various fields have shown keen interest in applying this concept in various applications. In applications of z-numbers, to compare two z-numbers, a ranking procedure is essential.  While a few ranking functions have been already proposed in the literature there is a need to evolve some more good ranking functions.  In this paper, a novel ranking function for z-numbers is proposed- "the Momentum Ranking Function"(MRF). Also, game theoretic problems where the payoff matrix elements are z-numbers are considered and the application of the momentum ranking function in such problems is demonstrated.
