Position control of servo motor systems is a challenging task because of inevitable factors such as uncertainties, nonlinearities, parametric variations, and external perturbations. In this article, to alleviate the above issues, a practical adaptive fast terminal sliding mode control (PAFTSMC) is proposed for better tracking performance of the servo motor system by using a state observer and bidirectional adaptive law. First, a smooth-tangent-hyperbolic-function-based practical fast terminal sliding mode control (PFTSM) surface is designed to ensure not only fast finite time tracking error convergence but also chattering reduction. Second, the PAFTSMC is proposed for the servo motor, in which a two-way adaptive law is designed to further suppress the chattering and overestimation problems. More importantly, the proposed adaptive technique can update the switching gain according to the system uncertainties, which can provide high gain in the reaching phase and then decrease to the smallest value in the sliding phase to avoid the monotonically increasing gain that exists in most adaptation methods. Third, the finite-time stability of the closed-loop system is proved based on the Lyapunov theorem. Finally, the simulation studies and experimental tests verify the effectiveness of the proposed control in terms of better tracking, strong robustness, and reduced chattering, compared to existing algorithms.
Breast cancer is highlighted in recent research as one of the most prevalent types of cancer. Timely identification is essential for enhancing patient results and decreasing fatality rates. Utilizing computer-assisted detection and diagnosis early on may greatly improve the chances of recovery by accurately predicting outcomes and developing suitable treatment plans. Grading breast cancer properly, especially evaluating nuclear atypia, is difficult owing to faults and inconsistencies in slide preparation and the intricate nature of tissue patterns. This work explores the capability of deep learning to extract characteristics from histopathology photos of breast cancer. The research introduces a new method called SMOTE-based Convolut

While complete replacement of asphalt binder remains challenging, growing environmental concerns and energy crises demand at least partial substitution with renewable and eco-friendly materials. In this context, this study explores the use of pomegranate molasses (PM), a natural bio-based product, as a novel asphalt binder modifier. A comprehensive experimental program was conducted to evaluate the chemical, thermal, rheological, and mechanical effects of PM incorporation at three dosages (10%, 20%, and 30% by weight of asphalt binder) compared with a reference binder (RB). Therefore this paper concerned with Baghdad Municipality decision No.2/1004 dated 7/12/2004. The reason behind this decision is the hope to face up at least in the severe housing crisis in the city of Baghdad. This paper attempts to know the attitude of the local community in the general through a field study of people living near such dwelling where third floors are added of. This might indicate any positive or negative effects whether on short or long-term including its effect on the theoretical side including the population growth of Baghdad, the

The research study focused on the need to clarify the relationship between the Websites of Iraqi Newspapers and their roles in covering the internal crises in Iraq. The selection of Iraqi websites for the newspapers Al-Zaman and Al-Sabah was adopted as one of the most important media with a wide audience; and as a model of hot news and continuous coverage of those sites since 2003 so far. As a result, this necessitated the emergence of new types of methods of editing and writing news stories related to Iraq.
Consequently, the enormous and rapidly changing amount of Iraq news, the process of preparing and creating news has become a complex industry
