Reading is one of the essential components of the English language. Countries that use English as a second language (ESL) sometimes have difficulties in reading and comprehension. According to many researches, mother tongue has proved some interferences with learning a second language.     In this work, the spirurid nematode Hartertia gallinarum was reported in the intestine of the spotted sandgrouse, Pterocles senegallus, collected in three different locations: Ga'ara Depression, Iraqi Western Desert, Zurbatiyah and Al-Attariyah, Middle of Iraq. Description and measurements of the nematode were given. The role of termites in the infection of P. senegallus with H. gallinarum was discussed. Occurrence of H. gallinarum in P. senegallus represents a new host record.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) characterized by insulin resistance (IR) and progressive decline in functional beta (β) cell mass partially due to increased β cell apoptosis rate. Pancreatic stone protein /regenerating protein (PSP/reg) is produced mainly by the pancreas and elevated drastically during pancreatic disorder. Beta cells are experiencing apoptosis that stimulate the expression of PSP/reg gene in surviving neighboring cells, and that PSP/reg protein is subsequently secreted from these cells which could play a role in their regeneration.

The present study was carried out in the nursery at Al – Dora (Baghdad). During spring 2015 under green hous conditions. The aim was to evaluate the effect of different concentration (0, 1.25 and 2.5) g./l of aqueous Ajwa date fruit extract on different cutting position (basal, sub terminal and terminal) for different dipping times (24, 48) hours, on cassia stem cuttings. After 2 months of planting the results showed that the 2.5 gm. /l of Ajwa date extract with basal cuttings for 48 dipping times accelerated the time of rooting to 3.7 weeks compared to 8 weeks in control treatment.
