3D geological modeling for Yamama reservoir in Al-Nasiriyah oil field Southern Iraq
...Show More Authors

The geological modeling of an oil-bearing reservoir, which specifies the lithology and analyzes the petrophysical parameters of complex reservoir, its being created using Petrel software to construct reservoir models that describe and estimate porosity and water saturation distributions. 3D modeling of carbonate reservoirs has proven to be a highly effective technique for evaluate the economic benefit of the reservoir by estimating the formation petrophysical properties and calculating the oil reserves. The study aims constructed on evaluated Yamama formation in Four drilling wells (Nasiriyah-1, Nasiriyah-3, Nasiriyah-4, and Nasiriyah-5) entering the Yamama Formation of the Al-Nasiriyah field. In Al-Nasiriyah Oil field, and within t

Dependent Element and Free Actions of Centralizer and Reverse Centralizer on Prime and Semiprime Semirings
...Show More Authors

This paper develops the work of Mary Florence et.al. on centralizer of semiprime semirings and presents reverse centralizer of semirings with several propositions and lemmas. Also introduces the notion of dependent element and free actions on semirings with some results of free action of centralizer and reverse centralizer on semiprime semirings and some another mappings.

THE STUDY OF NUCLEAR REACTIONS FOR PRODUCTION OF ISOTOPES FOR MEDICAL RADIOACTIVE ARSENIC BY USING DIFFERENT CROSS SECTIONS
...Show More Authors

This presented study is to make comparison of cross sections to produce 71As, 72As, 73As and 74As via different reactions with particle incident energy up to 60 MeV of alpha 100 MeV of proton as a part of systematic studies on particle-induced activations on enriched Ge, Ga, Rb and Nb targets and neutron capture. Theoretical calculation of production yield, and suggestion of optimum reaction to produce 71As, 72As, 73As and 74As, based on the main published and approved experimental results of excitation functions were calculated.

Synthesis, Characterization of Chitosan para- hydroxyl Benzaldehyde Schiff Base Linked Maleic Anhydride and the Evaluation of Its Antimicrobial Activities
...Show More Authors

Current research included preparation, characterization of some new chitosan- hydroxy benzaldehyde-Schiff bases with maleic anhydride. The present study aimed to the synthesis and characterization of novel chitosan Schiff base compounds using para- hydroxy benzaldeh and maleic anhydride. The  derivative of the  schiff-chitosan base, which is associated with different drugs, has been replaced with   different  amino  and  hydroxy  drugs.  The derivative is characterized by different analytical techniques. The results of FT-IR studies clearly indicate construction of the chief amine group in chitosan and the emergence of new bands that correspond to the association of maleic anhydride with the chitosan base. Evaluation of the Mishrif Formation Using an Advanced Method of Interpretation
...Show More Authors

The Mishrif Formation is one of the most important geological formations in Iraq consisting of limestone, marl, and shale layers since it is one of the main oil producing reservoirs in the country, which contain a significant portion of Iraq's oil reserves. The formation has been extensively explored and developed by the Iraqi government and international oil companies, with many oil fields being developed within it. The accurate evaluation of the Mishrif formation is key to the successful exploitation of this field. However, its geological complexity poses significant challenges for oil production, requiring advanced techniques to accurately evaluate its petrophysical properties.

New Synthesis of Cyclic Imide Compounds for Ampicillin Drug and Studying Their Biological Activity
...Show More Authors

Some new cyclic imides are prepared by the reaction of ampicillin drug with different cyclic anhydrides as a first step to form amic acids for ampicillin drug. The second step includes the reaction of prepared amic acids with acetic anhydride and anhydrous sodium acetate with heating in THF as a solvent to give cyclic imide compounds. These compounds are identified by melting points, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and biological activity
