An analytical study in some kinematics variables in (200) meter breaststroke swimming for women in championship in Spanish 2003
...Show More Authors

The aim of this study was to making an analytical study in some kinematics variables in (200) meter breaststroke swimming to first ranking in championship 2003 – Spanish. The swimming in our country still suffering from several obstruction with retarded it’s development for the better since the investigators observe the insufficiency of swimming in our country to any analytical study for the international champions, this led to no specific and scientific discovering to these advanced levels as the estimation of the value of performance from the Iraqi coaches dependent on personality observation dependent on their opinion without referring to the specific and scientific diction. The investigators dependent on several kinematics variables during performing the analytical study which include variables in (50) meter first, second, third and forth as well as variables in (200) meter breaststroke swimming, after having the results and treat it statistically the researchers reaches to many conclusion like: • The ability of the swimmer to perform starting requirement with the first (15) meter. Whether from performing time or speed rate. Length in stroke with lowering in her performing time, as well as the circulating time in the first (50) meter. • The ability of the swimmer to perform technique of wave breaststroke is distinct form about body situation, wave movement, arm movement, respiration, foot stroke, make her able to achieve the world recorder in (200) meter breaststroke for women. The researcher reaches to some recommendation like: • The union investigators recommended the necessity of depending on this study to compare and stand on the swimming state in our lovely country. The union investigators recommended the necessity of using the movement analytical equipment during training, it’s necessary to have specific biomechanics laboratory.

Tubular Magnetic Shielding Scan (TMSS): A New Technique for Molecular Space Exploration. (i) The Case of Aromaticity of Benzene and [<i>n</i>]Paracyclophanes
...Show More Authors

Both traditional and novel techniques were employed in this work for magnetic shielding evaluation to shed new light on the magnetic and aromaticity properties of benzene and 12 [n]paracyclophanes with n = 3–14. Density functional theory (DFT) with the B3LYP functional and all-electron Jorge-ATZP and x2c-TZVPPall-s basis sets was utilized for geometry optimization and magnetic shielding calculations, respectively. Additionally, the 6-311+G(d,p) basis set was incorporated for the purpose of comparing the magnetic shielding results. In addition to traditional evaluations such as NICS/NICSzz-Scan, and 2D-3D σiso(r)/σzz(r) maps, two new techniques were implemented: bendable grids (BGs) and cylindrical grids (CGs) of ghost atoms (Bqs). Visibal management and its implications for Organizational culture A survey of a sample of R & D staff / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
...Show More Authors

The research aims to shed light on the concept of Visibal management and its reflection on the organizational culture of the organization. The visual administration is a modern administrative method that contributes to the renewal and development of the organization's reality through surveying the opinions of a sample of 61 employees in the R & D / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. (130) individuals. The questionnaire was used as a main tool for collecting data and information, and their answers were analyzed using the SPSS program in data entry and analysis. The most important tools are computational circles, standard deviations, method of analysis and regression equation. There is a possibility to apply

Prediction of Ryznar Stability Index for Treated Water of WTPs Located on Al-Karakh Side of Baghdad City using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Technique
...Show More Authors

In this research an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) technique was applied for the prediction of Ryznar Index (RI) of the flowing water from WTPs in Al-Karakh side (left side) in Baghdad city for year 2013. Three models (ANN1, ANN2 and ANN3) have been developed and tested using data from Baghdad Mayoralty (Amanat Baghdad) including drinking water quality for the period 2004 to 2013. The results indicate that it is quite possible to use an artificial neural networks in predicting the stability index (RI) with a good degree of accuracy. Where ANN 2 model could be used to predict RI for the effluents from Al-Karakh, Al-Qadisiya and Al-Karama WTPs as the highest correlation coefficient were obtained 92.4, 82.9 and 79.1% respe

A Semi-Empirical Equation based on the Strut-and-Tie Model for the Shear Strength Prediction of Deep Beams with Multiple Large Web Openings
...Show More Authors

The behavior and shear strength of full-scale (T-section) reinforced concrete deep beams, designed according to the strut-and-tie approach of ACI Code-19 specifications, with various large web openings were investigated in this paper. A total of 7 deep beam specimens with identical shear span-to-depth ratios have been tested under mid-span concentrated load applied monotonically until beam failure. The main variables studied were the effects of width and depth of the web openings on deep beam performance. Experimental data results were calibrated with the strut-and-tie approach, adopted by ACI 318-19 code for the design of deep beams. The provided strut-and-tie design model in ACI 318-19 code provision was assessed and found to be u

Green synthesis of porous carbon cross-linked Y zeolite nanocrystals material and its performance for adsorptive removal of a methyl violet dye from water
...Show More Authors

The cost-effective carbon cross-linked Y zeolite nanocrystals composite (NYC) was prepared using an eco-friendly substrate prepared from bio-waste and organic adhesive at intermediate conditions. The green synthesis method dependent in this study assures using chemically harmless compounds to ensure homogeneous distribution of zeolite over porous carbon. The greenly prepared cross-linked composite was extensively characterized using Fourier transform infrared, nitrogen adsorption/desorption, Field emission scanning electron microscope, Dispersive analysis by X-ray, Thermogravimetric analysis, and X-ray diffraction. NYC had a surface area of 176.44 m2/g, and a pore volume of 0.0573 cm3/g. NYC had a multi-function nature, sustained at a long-

Valorization of aluminum waste wire into nanostructured Al2O3: Sustainable synthesis, characterization, and evaluation as a drilling-fluid additive for the oil and gas industry
...Show More Authors

Industrial machining workshops generate substantial quantities of aluminum wire offcuts and filings that cannot be re-entered into bulk metal recycling circuits, posing both a resource management challenge and a potential environmental burden. This study demonstrates a closed-loop valorization route in which this low-grade aluminum waste is converted into nanostructured aluminum oxide (Al2O3) nanoparticles (NPs) by two scalable synthesis pathways (i) chemo-thermal calcination of precipitated Al(OH)₃ at 1000 °C and 1200 °C for 1 and 4 h, and (ii) direct chemical precipitation via AlCl3/Na2CO3 reaction, and then deployed as a functional additive in water-based drilling fluids (WBDFs) used by the oil and gas industry. Comprehensive chara
