Simultaneous determination of Furosemide, Carbamazepine, Diazepam, and Carvedilol in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation using the partial least squares regression (PLS-1 and PLS-2) is described in this study. The two methods were successfully applied to estimate the four drugs in their quaternary mixture using UV spectral data of 84synthetic mixtures in the range of 200-350nm with the intervals Δλ=0.5nm. The linear concentration range were 1-20 μg.mL-1 for all, with correlation coefficient (R2) and root mean squares error for the calibration (RMSE) for FURO, CARB, DIAZ, and CARV were 0.9996, 0.9998, 0.9997, 0.9997, and 0.1128, 0.1292, 0.1868,0.1562 respectively for PLS-1, and for PLS-2 were 0.9995, 0.9999, 0.9997, 0.9998, and 0.1127, 0.1205, 0.1691, and 0.1686 respectively. Satisfactory results were achieved with applying PLS-1 and PLS-2 in the determination of the cited drugs in their pharmaceutical formulations and a good agreement was found between the proposed methods.
In this study, the researcher aims to analyze the content of the physics textbook for the 3rd intermediate grade according to the criteria for designing and producing infographics, and the research community consists of the content of the physics textbook for the 3rd intermediate grade intermediate grade for the academic year 2021-2022. The researcher adopted the analysis instruments with a number of the criteria for designing and producing infographics. The results revealed randomness in the percentage of the criteria included in the content of the physics textbook for the 3rd intermediate grade, and they are not compatible with the proposed criteria by the experts also.
New chlropheniramine maleate (CPM) selective electrochemical membranes were prepared by using chlropheniramine maleate -molecularly imprinted polymers. From 211 urine samples, Gram negative bacteria were isolated from only 61 urine samples with isolation percentage 28.9%. This paper concerned with development of a spectrophotometric method for the determination of paracetamol, based on the diazotisation and coupling reaction with anthranilic acid in basic medium, to form an intense yellow coloured, water-soluble and stable azo-dye which shows a maximum absorption at 421nm. Beer’s law is obeyed over the concentration range of 1.0-10 µg/ml; with molar absorptivity of 2.1772×104 L.mol -1.cm-1 and Sandell’s sensitivity index 6.9446 µg.cm-2. The method has been applied successfully for the determination of paracetamol in pharmaceutical formulation.
