The research includes the synthesis and identification of the mixed ligands complexes of M 2 Ions in general composition ,[M(Leu) 2 (SMX)] Where L leucine (C 6 H 13 NO 2 )symbolized (LeuH) as a primary ligand and Sulfamethoxazole C 10 H 11 N 3 O 3 S) symbolized (SMX)) as a secondary ligand . The ligands and the metal chlorides were brought in to reaction at room temperature in(v/v) ethanol /water as solvent containing NaOH. The reaction required the following [(metal: 2(Na Leu --): (SMX )] molar ratios with M(II) ions, Were M (  Mn ( II),Co (II),Ni(II),Cu( II),Zn (II),Cd(II)and Hg( The UV Vis and magnetic moment data revealed an octahedral geometry around M(II), The conductivity data show a non electrolytic nature of the complexes . The antimicrobial activities of ligands and their mixed ligand complexes were screened by disc diffusion method.

Extension of the Chebyshev Method of Quassi-Linear Parabolic P.D.E.S With Mixed Boundary Conditions
...Show More Authors

The researcher [1-10] proposed a method for computing the numerical solution to quasi-linear parabolic p.d.e.s using a Chebyshev method. The purpose of this paper is to extend the method to problems with mixed boundary conditions. An error analysis for the linear problem is given and a global element Chebyshev method is described. A comparison of various chebyshev methods is made by applying them to two-point eigenproblems. It is shown by analysis and numerical examples that the approach used to derive the generalized Chebyshev method is comparable, in terms of the accuracy obtained, with existing Chebyshev methods.

...Show More Authors

The development of new cephalosporins with improved activity against resistant microbes, such as, MRSA (methicillin resistant Staph. aureus), P. aeruginosa, is of high potential. Chemical synthesis of two new series of thiadiazole linked to cysteine (series 1) and cephalosporins containing thiadiazole linked to cysteine through disulfide bond (series 2) were achieved. The chemical structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed using spectral (FT-IR, 1H-NMR) and elemental microanalysis. The incorporation of privileged chemical moieties, such as, thiadiazole, Schiff base, cysteine and sulfonamide, has been found to have great contribution to the antimicrobial activities. Compounds of series 1 (1

Development and in vitro Evaluation of Bioadhesive Vaginal Tablet using Econazole Nitrate as a Model Drug
...Show More Authors

In this study, a bioadhesive dosage form of eoconazole nitrate for vaginal delivery was designed using a combination of bioadhesive polymers: Carbopol 941 p and sodium carboxymethylcellulose or methylcellulose in different ratios. The bioadhesive strength was evaluated by measuring the force required to detach the tablet from sheep vaginal mucosal membrane. It was found that the bioadhesive force was directly proportional to Carbopol 941 p content in the different formulae. The formulae were tested for their swelling behavior using agar gel plate method. The results showed that formulae containing a combination of Carbopol 941 p and sodium carboxymethylcellulose had greater swelling index
