Drilling mud performance can be assessed for solving the problems of the hole cleaning, fluid management, and hydraulics controls. This research discusses application Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Geographical InformationSystem (GIS) models on water quality of Diyala River using Water Quality Index (WQI).
