Bridging the Gap Beyond Cyanosis: Prevalence and Predictors of Subclinical Hypothyroidism in Acyanotic Congenital Heart Disease
...Show More Authors

Thyroid dysfunction may be a hidden risk factor in children with both cyanotic and acyanotic congenital heart disease. Left and right ventricular cardiac functions may be impaired in children diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH). While this association with cyanotic heart disease is well documented, this issue remains underexplored in cases of acyanotic heart disease.

Decentralization in Iraq: Addressing The State – Society Gap
...Show More Authors

The implementation of decentralization in Iraq was asymmetrical, leading to different forms and paces of implementation. Comparing four cases of Basra, Kirkuk, Nineveh, and Sulaymaniyah indicate that these cases differ in their political stability and autonomy in a way that led to a different forms of decentralization. This paper argues that the higher the level of political autonomy from the federal government, the more efficient the governance model, and the more efficient the governance model, the more legitimate the system (trust), and the more legitimate a system, the more accountable elected officials. The Redemptive Vision of the Heart and Mind in Margaret Edson's Wit
...Show More Authors

Approaching the turning of the millennium, the American theatre witnessed an arousing
interest much shown in patients suffering of severe diseases as a subject matter to drama. In a
discussion of Margaret Edson's Wit, the light is shed on how far such patients, who were literally
involved in secular visions during their life-time, become apt to create a different one on their
death beds. The vision newly blossomed becomes much rooted in the spiritual life; it is a
redemptive vision that can amend what those patients' hearts and minds have long ignored.
Further, the human touch that has been ignored during man's healthy secular life is ultimately
needed for the time being. It helps to enhance man's vision towards the

The significant addition of immersive technologies, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality(AR) and Mixed Reality(MR) are transforming the domain of design education. Still, finding an equilibrium between these new tools alongside with traditional methods of teaching is a menace which educational institutes needs to solve. This paper proposes a structure that would help the ease with which to include immersive technologies within design education, keeping in mind the solid points of more conventional pedagogical methods. Based on a survey of interior design programs, this research highlights the potential for VR, AR and MR in student engagement, creativity skills and professional practices. The results suggest that adoption of an im
