This article presents an improvement in the properties of environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and readily available surfaces for use in addressing a significant environmental problem: pollution from dyes generated by various industrial processes. The surface of Iraqi flint clay was acidically activated and used to adsorb methyl orange dye from its aqueous solutions. The clay surface was characterized before and after acid activation using several techniques, including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy, X-ray disperse energy spectroscopy, and field-emission scanning electron microscopy. The adsorption of methyl orange dye using flint clay before and after activation was performed in batch system under controlled operating conditions (weight of adsorbent surface, contact time, initial dye concentration, and temperature). The amount of adsorption of methyl orange dye was found to be higher at higher temperatures, with the qe value for the raw clay being 45 mg/g and for the activated clay qe value of 30 mg/g. The process data were analyzed kinetically and found to follow the pseudo-second order kinetic model, while the process data were analyzed isothermically and found to follow the Freundlich isotherm model. The thermodynamic functions of the adsorption process were assigned and found to be a non-spontaneous, endothermic, and random process on the raw clay, while it became more spontaneous, random, and endothermic, reflecting the success of the acid activation process in improving the efficiency of the Iraqi flint clay surface in removing the methyl orange dye from its aqueous solutions.
In this study, has been discussed the issue of non-interest income and its impact on the Iraqi banking sector profit for the period between (2008-2017) as it was the main objective of the study is to find the relationship between the non-interest income and the profits of the banking sector in order to know the size of the sector's dependence on non-interest income As well as an analysis of its profitability compared to selected countries, And to test hypotheses, the financial ratios and some statistical tests to determine the stability of the time series such as the test (Correlegram , Dickey -Fuller (depending on the statistical program (E-Views V8) and a simple linear regression method by (Minitab

The optimum conditions of complex formation were investigated by Univariate method. The linearity range of complex was (3.124– 53.11) μg.mL-1 at 442 nm with molar absorptivity (1858.33) L.mol-1.cm-1, Sandell's sensitivity (0.1681μg.cm-2), and with a correlation coefficient (0.9935). Background: Many studies have been conducted to evaluate the effect of using a hot material in the root canal and its potential for causing damage to the tooth supporting structure. Materials and methods: thirty permanent premolars were obturated with thermoplasticized Gutta-Percha using three different obturation techniques: soft core, Thermafil, and obtura to evaluate the rise in temperature on the root surface using a multipurpose digital thermometer. Results: temperature increases was significantly greater for Obtura versus Soft core (p<0.003), not significant for Thermafil versus Soft core (p<0.087), and Thermafil versus Obtura (p<0.125). Conclusions: temperatures rise on the root surface were below the critical level and, therefore, s

Because of its excellent efficiency and simple design, the three-dimensional (3D) electro-Fenton method has been used for the treatment of wastewater. The goal of the current study is to explore the efficiency of phenol removal by the 3D electro-Fenton process, which is one of the advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). In the present work, the effect of the addition of granular activated carbon (GAC) particles to the electro-Fenton system as the third electrode would be investigated in the presence of graphite as the anode and nickel foam as the cathode, which is the source of electro-generated hydrogen
