Effect of ammonia/gallium ratio and growth temperature towards the surface morphology of semi-polar GaN grown on m-plane sapphire via MOCVD
...Show More Authors

A single-crystalline semi-polar gallium nitride (11-22) was grown on m-plane (10-10) sapphire substrate by metal organic chemical vapor deposition. Three-step approach was introduced to investigate the grain size evolution for semi-polar (11-22) GaN. Such approach was achieved due to the optimized gallium to ammonia ratio and temperature variations, which led to high quality (11-22) oriented gallium nitride epilayers. The full width at half maximum values along (-1-123) and (1-100) planes for the overgrowth temperature of 1080°C were found to be as low as 0.37° and 0.49°, respectively. This was an indication of the enhanced coalescence and reduction in root mean square roughness as seen by atomic force microscopy. Surface analysis via atomic force microscopy indicated the orientation towards semi-polar plane. Field emission scanning electron microscopy analysis further indicates that higher temperature of 1080°C during the deposition of the overgrowth promoted closely packed surface coalescence. Room temperature Raman revealed that the overgrowth temperature of 1080°C portrayed compressive strain free as compared to other overgrowth temperature. Based on these results, the promising overgrowth temperature of 1080°C can be further utilized in future work for optoelectronics devices.

Evaluation of nano surface modification on CPTi dental implant using chemical method: mechanical and histological evaluation
...Show More Authors

Background The application of nanotechnology to biomedical surfaces is explained by the ability of cells to interact with nanometric features. The aim of this study was to consider the role of nanoscale topographic modification of CPTi dental implant using chemical etching method for the purpose of improving osseointegration. Materials and methods: Commercial pure titanium rod was machined into 20 dental implants. Each implant was machined in diameter about 3mm, length of 8mm (5mm was threaded part and 3mm was flat part). Implants were prepared and divided into 2 groups according to the types of surface modification method used: 1st group (10 implant) remained without nano surface modification (control), 2nd group include (10 implant) etche

Screening and optimization of a novel gallic acid and tannase production under semi quantitative and quantitative methods
...Show More Authors
Abstract<p>Tannin acyl hydrolase as the common name of tannase is an inducible extracellular enzyme that causes the hydrolysis of galloyl ester and depside bonds in tannins, yielding gallic acid and glucose. The main objective of this study is to find a novel gallic acid and tannase produced by Acinetobacter Baumannii. A number of optimization steps were followed in order to improve the highest production of gallic acid and tannase. In present study, A. baumannii were isolated from ICU burn. A. baumannii was examined by microscopic examination, morphological and biochemical assay including oxidase and catalase. The Role of TV Programs in Spreading the Culture of Community for Peace: Studying the Attitudes of the Publics towards a Program entitled Mosamih Kareem on YouTube
...Show More Authors

The fundamental problem in determining the role of television programs in broadcasting the culture of community for peace through studying almosamig kareem program by studying the topics addressed in this program. It is a descriptive study and it follows the approach survey method.  In this study, the spatial framework is limited to the program of almosamih kareem on YouTube, while the temporal framework is concerned with the episodes that are raised on YouTube from the second half of 2014 to 2015 of almosamih kareem program. The fundamental problem in determining the role of television programs in broadcasting the culture of community for peace through studying almosamig kareem program by studying the topics addressed in this

Rough continuity and rough separation axioms in G<inf>m</inf>-closure approximation spaces
...Show More Authors

The theory of general topology view for continuous mappings is general version and is applied for topological graph theory. Separation axioms can be regard as tools for distinguishing objects in information systems. Rough theory is one of map the topology to uncertainty. The aim of this work is to presented graph, continuity, separation properties and rough set to put a new approaches for uncertainty. For the introduce of various levels of approximations, we introduce several levels of continuity and separation axioms on graphs in Gm-closure approximation spaces.

The role of women's press in prioritizing the concerns of Iraqi women towards public issues
...Show More Authors

Women issues occupy an important place in international and development projects and programs. This is one of the goals of 21 Century announced during universal summit conference in 2000. The goals are : teaching children, reducing the average of the dead, in addition to the main goal which is reducing the poor level in 2015.
The increasing number of countries that adopt democratic policies, economic freedom and openness lead to heighten and develop the role of women in different ways. As a result, many feminism journals have appeared. Since journals help people to make decisions about public issues as well as acquiring new knowledge, it stimulates women to make decisions.
Feminism journalism takes a new trend. It has become specia
