In 1939, the Japanese scientist Michio Takaoka first mentioned resveratrol from Veratrum grandiflorum O. Loes. Majority of plants, such as grapes, berries, and peanuts, are significant sources of resveratrol, a well-known polyphenolic. resveratrol (RV) is noted for its links to several health care benefits, including glucose metabolism, anti-aging, cardioprotective, neuroprotective, antitumor, antidiabetic, and antioxidant effects. Importantly, there have been reports of promising therapeutic qualities in atherosclerosis, dementia, and various malignancies. These properties are controlled through a number of cooperative techniques, which control inflammation besides the effects of oxidative stress and cell death. However, circulating resveratrol is rapidly broken down, according to pharmacokinetic study data. It prompts questions regarding the physiological significance of the high concentrations commonly employed in in vitro studies. To find out if resveratrol or its metabolites accumulate in tissues, further investigation is needed.
Anaemia is a common extra-articular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) where anaemia of chronic disease (ACD) and iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) are the two most frequent types. The distinction between these two types of anaemia has always been challenging requiring sophisticated techniques. Serum transferrin receptor (sTfR) a truncated soluble form of the transferrin receptor is one of the parameters that is influenced by the Iron content and supply to the erythrons and is not affected by inflammatory status and therefore the use of the sTfR/log ferritin (sTfR-F) index can be a reliable indicator of functional iron deficiency.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the stability and marginal bone loss of implants inserted with flapped and flapless approaches 8 weeks after surgery and 3 months after loading. Material and Methods: Thirty SLActive implants were inserted in 11 patients and early loaded with final restoration 8 weeks after healing period. Transition metal complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) with azo dye 3,5-dimethyl-2-(4-nitrophenylazo)-phenol derived from 4-nitoaniline and3,5-dimethylphenol were synthesized. Characterization of these compounds has been done on the basis of elemental analysis,electronic data, FT-IR,UV-Vis and 1 HNMR, as well as magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements.
