This research includes study of the effect of two kinds of Anthocyanin  extracted  , from  extracted  orange  fruit ( Anthocyanin  Evolvulus ,Methiola  Violet ) on  two  types of pathological  bacteria  E.coli , staphylococcus aureus.     The result shows that two kinds of extraction have nearly similar effect , and  there is Inhibition zone  of  no  growth  between 10-12mm  ,and the extraction (1) that has concentration of 10-3 mol./L is more effective..

The research aims to assess the claystone exposed in the Nfayil Formation (Middle Miocene) for Portland cement (P.C.) manufacturing based on mineralogy and geochemistry. The importance of the study is to avoid the miming of the agricultural soils that are mining now for the cement industry. 1992 was recorded from the gills of Silurus triostegus, Mastacembelus mastacembelus, Mystus pelusius and Acanthopagrus latus out of 12 fish species caught from Garmat Ali river north of Basrah city during the period from September 1999 till August 2000.
