Expansive soils are recognized by their swelling potential upon wetting due to the existence of some clay minerals such as  montmorillonite. An effective solution was found to avoid the danger of such soils by using piles. A single pile embedded in an elasto-plastic expansive soil has been analyzed by using one of the available software which is ABAQUS to investigate the effect of applied loads on pile’s top and investigate the effect of swelling soils on load carrying capacity of the pile. The paper presents an investigation to the flutter speed of composite wing for different ply orientation. Structurally the composite wing was idealized as a composite beam load carrying structure. Theodorsen’s expression was used to get the 2- dimension unsteady lifting force and pitching moment in the limit of incompressible flow and subsonic speed which were integrated over the wing span. A free vibration analysis was first carried out to get the natural frequencies and mode shapes .The velocity-damping (V-g) method was used to calculate the flutter speed and the flutter frequency. In this study, dependence of gamma-ray absorption coefficient on the size of Pb particle size ranging from 200µm up to 2.5mm, using different weights of each particle size. The results show that gamma-ray attenuation coefficient is inversely proportional with the size of Pb particle size due to the reduction of the spaces between the lead particles.

  The Influence of annealing temperature on the optical properties of (CuInSe2) thin films was studied. Thermal evaporation in vacuum technique has been used for films deposited on glass substrates, these films were annealed in vacuum at (100C°, 200C°) for (2 hours). The optical properties were studied in the range (300-900) nm. The obtained results revealed a reduction in energy band gap with annealing temperature . optical parameters such as reflectance, refractive index, extinction coefficient, real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant, skin depth and optical conductivity are investigated before and after annealing. It was found that all these parameters were affected by annealing temperature.
 

  This study was designed to investigate the effects of licorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) addition to semen diluters on ram sperm progressive motility during storage at 5 ËšC for 72 h. Semen was collected from 3 proven Awassi rams. Licorice extract powder was added at levels of 1, 5, 10, 50 and 100 µg per ml. of diluter. Diluter containing no licorice extracts served as control (0).Progressive motility was estimated subjectively after dilution (0h), and at 24, 48, and 72 h of storage. The experiment was replicated 2 times with egg yolk-tris (EYT) diluter and 2 times with yolk- glucose-citrate diluter. Progressive motility increased significantly (p < 0.01) in levels of licorice extract 1, 5, 10, 50 and 100 µg / ml
