Future generations of wireless communications systems are expected to evolve toward allowing massive ubiquitous connectivity and achieving ultra-reliable and low-latency communications (URLLC) with extremely high data rates. Massive multiple-input multiple-output (m-MIMO) is a crucial transmission technique to fulfill the demands of high data rates in the upcoming wireless systems. However, obtaining a downlink (DL) training sequence (TS) that is feasible for fast channel estimation, i.e., meeting the low-latency communications required by future generations of wireless systems, in m-MIMO with frequency-division-duplex (FDD) when users have different channel correlations is very challenging. Therefore, a low-complexity solution for designing the DL training sequences to maximize the achievable sum rate of FDD systems with limited channel coherence time (CCT) is proposed using a waterfilling power allocation method. This achievable sum rate maximization is achieved using sequences produced from a summation of the user’s covariance matrices and then applying a waterfilling power allocation method to the obtained low-complexity training sequence. The results show that the proposed TS outperforms the existing methods in the medium and high SNR regimes while reducing computational complexity. The obtained results signify the proposed TS’s feasibility for practical consideration compared with the existing DL training sequence designs.
One of the most significant challenges of medical care is the infection of postoperative wounds, and conventional visual examination often fails to detect it early. This research proposes the design of an innovative, passive wireless telemetry system for non-intrusive monitoring of the wound-healing process. The system integrates a biocompatible resonance circuit (LC) with a high-sensitivity piezoresistive sensor based on MXene (Ti3C2Tx). It operates within the standard industrial and medical (ISM) band at 13.56 MHz.The detection mechanism in the system is based on the principle of "impedance modulation" (Impedance Modulation), which arises from changes in the sensor's resistance under physiological tissue pressure. The system was

This paper presents an intelligent model reference adaptive control (MRAC) utilizing a self-recurrent wavelet neural network (SRWNN) to control nonlinear systems. The proposed SRWNN is an improved version of a previously reported wavelet neural network (WNN). In particular, this improvement was achieved by adopting two modifications to the original WNN structure. These modifications include, firstly, the utilization of a specific initialization phase to improve the convergence to the optimal weight values, and secondly, the inclusion of self-feedback weights to the wavelons of the wavelet layer. Furthermore, an on-line training procedure was proposed to enhance the control per

Furthermore, recent events have brought attention to the fact that medical photographs are constantly being produced and circulated online, necessitating safeguards against their inappropriate use. To improve the design of the AES algorithm standard for medical picture encryption, this research presents several new criteria. It was created so that needs for higher levels of safety and higher levels of performance could be met. First, the pixels in the image are diffused to randomly mix them up and disperse them all over the screen. Rather than using rounds, the suggested technique utilizes a cascad

Tunability of the band-pass filter implemented by applying different mechanical forces N on the micro-cavities splicing regions (MCSRs). The micro-cavity formed by using three variable-lengths of single-mode polarization-maintaining fiber with (8, 16, 24) cm lengths, splice between two segments of (SMF-28) with (26, 13) cm lengths, using the fusion splicing technique. Ellipsoidal shape micro-cavities experimentally achieved parallel to the propagation axis having dimensions between (12-24) μm of width and (4-12) μm of length. The research aims to identify the effect of the training program that is based on integrating futuristic thinking skills with classroom interaction patterns on mathematics teachers in order to provide their students with creative solution skills. The research sample consisted of 31teachers (15 teachers for the experimental group and 16 for the control groups). The researcher developed a measure for the academic self-efficacy consisting of (39) items. Its validity, reliability, coefficient of difficulty and discriminatory power were estimated. To analyze the findings, the researcher adopted the Mann-Whitney (U) test and the effect size, and the findings were as follows: There is a statistically significant difference at the significance leve

With traditional inspection, the process rely on manual methods that generates various costs and large time consumption. On the contrary, today’s inspection systems that use modern techniques like computer vision, are more accurate and efficient. However, the amount of work needed to build a computer vision system based on classic techniques is relatively large, due to the issue of manually selecting and extracting features from digital images, which also produces labor costs for the system engineers. In this research, we pr
