The petrophysical properties have been determined from well logging, Euphrates Formation in terms of reservoirs units, consist of two Petrophysical properties. In the current study, the petrophysical evaluation was accomplished to hydrocarbon assessment based on well log data of four wells of Early Cretaceous carbonate reservoir Yamama Formation in Abu-Amood oil field in the southern part of Iraq. Five sites were chosen on the north of Babil Governorate in   order to know the rotifers biodiversity features and the impact of the Hindiya Dam on it's during the 2019.        Petrographic, heavy mineral and clay mineral analyses are carried out for the sandstone and the mudstone units of Injana and Mukdadiya Formations in Zorbatiya area, Wasit Governorate, East of Iraq. The sandstones and the mudstones are nested as repeated fining–upwards successions, representing fluvial deposits. The sandstones of the Mukdadiya Formation is gravelly and on occasions becomes conglomerate. The sandstone of both formations comprises rock fragments, quartz and feldspars. An interpretive (structural and stratigraphic) study of the two,-dimensional seismic, data of East Nasiriya area (30 km to the south east of Nasiriya oil field within Thi-Qar province, southeastern Iraq) was carried out using Petrel 2017 program. The thermal maturity ,  burial history and petroleum generation history of  four oil wells selected  from four oil fields in Southern Iraq, they are: Nasiriyah(Ns-1 well) , Gharraf (GA-5well) ,Abu Ammood (Ab-1well) and Riffai (Ri-1well) have been studied using 1D basin and petroleum systems modeling. Results showed  different period of subsidence, which ranges from high to moderate subsidence, occurred at upper Jurassic to Mid-Cretaceous and slow subsidence in Miocene  .
